Ts landscapes & property maintenance

I'm not one for posting reviews but thought I should warn people about TS Landscapes and in particular Tom. We arranged to have a new driveway, front step and garden fence which Tom assured us he could do. He told us it would take 7 to 8 days to complete, after 6 weeks we were still chasing Tom to come and finish the job, we've eventually given up. To sum up and avoid going into too much detail he has left us with a step I can only call an eyesore, our neighbours have made several comments about how awful it looks. He left us with a fence that has the posts way too big for the wooden panels, he didn't even take out the old fence and our driveway now has 3 broken paving stones as they haven't been layed properly. He refused to answer the telephone and his behaviour can only be describes as disgraceful and unprofessional. He tells you that you wont have to pay him unless you're happy with the job which is a lie as he continues to ask for money and we stupidly paid him. We've also had to pay for a skip to clear all the rubbish he left and clear it ourselves. My husband and I have been so stressed out and are now left with trying to find someone to correct all the mess he's made. DO NOT employ this person. Tom did a fantastic job at transforming our huge messed up garden , no messing , he got stuck in and made it look amazing , friendly and professional and worked very hard to achieve an absolutely amazing result , thank you Tom for my beautiful garden I love it 😃

The lads were brilliant, came when they said and worked hard. Completed a really good job of turning my garden from a mess into a useable paved space with artificial grass. Definitely recommend them

Unfortunately, I would not recommend Tom and T&S Landscapes. I was shocked at the lack of organisation in that he had not secured the materials before starting the job. He was out driving around building yards more than he was in our garden so everything took double time. We of course appreciated it is a pandemic but don’t start the job until you know you have what you need. The paving itself is ok but he had to use railway sleepers as retainers all around and this is a very poor finish thats gaps and large cracks have appeared everywhere. I am not surprised as the method of cutting them was for him and his colleague to forcibly jump up and down on the until they broke, after an initial attempt at sawing by hand. We made a few small requests with attention to detail but he didn’t pay attention and when ‘forgetting’ just said sorry, it’s just so hot! He has also left lasting damage to our existing patio in that there is lots of dried cement that we still can’t move. Finally, we asked if he could just dig in some borders for us as a bolt on to the job. He knew about this all week but only in the last half hour of the job when he wa slacking away did he get his colleague to hack away at it (7pm on a Friday). It’s the most uneven thing we’ve ever seen. We have been naive and paid full price too quickly. I contacted T&S Landscapes recently to raise our concerns and offer them opportunity to rectify things and/or give us a partial refund. They have declined and pointed the finger at us instead of accepting their work isn’t as it should be. I included lots of pictures too.
I think if this job didn’t require retaining wall and we didn’t ask them to do our borders, it may well have been a better job. More...
