T&S clean ups

They gave me a quote themselves to clear the rubbish on a weekend then backed out and said no sorry can't do as I quoted you alot less and only said that price coz had no work then but after speaking to me apparently they got alot of calls for clearance, this company is a joke, not reliable at all.

Tommy and the guys came out to clear a lot of unwanted plants in my garden area and cover over with grey slate pieces to make it more low maintenance. Tommy advised on the best plants to keep and explained in detail how the job would be achieved. The whole thing was done in only two days and the finished article looks really good. Tommy even suggested a couple of things I could do next such as buying potted plants to add some more colour. Advice I'm definitely going to follow. I'm pleased with the results and would recommend hiring Tommy and the guys to others. One small thing that would of been nice is if they'd cleaned the footpath which has been left a bit dirty, but that's the only thing. I employed Tommy and his company to clear, and tidy an overgrown garden for my 86 year old mother. In four days, they mowed two feet high grass, removed brambles, nettles and weeds, took away garden waste (inc pots, rubble etc), built feathered wooden fences with concrete posts front and back, replaced dilapidated raised beds with lower, membraned gravel areas, and pressure washed the paths and patio. We could not be more pleased with the results. The garden is transformed, and my mother is delighted, not least with Tommy himself who she described to me last night as the "best workman" she'd ever had working for her. I can see why; not only was his work exemplary, and his attitude professional (I live two-hundred miles away, and he kept me informed as to progress via phone and pix), he was exceptional in the way he dealt with a frail old lady. I did not hire too expensive , wanted £650 , then droped down to £550 , then £525 , didn't think he was genuine , kept telling me what I should do, other jobs ,

T&S the job but after confirming he could get all the materials he then postponed for five day an the finally text messaged to say he would not be able to to the job at all.
Very disappointing.

I'm very wary of workmen in general as my mother has been scammed a couple of times over the years (most recently just a couple of weeks ago), so I always err on the side of caution when hiring someone. Truth be told I'd rather not hire people if I can help it, but my garden really was in need of help and I couldn't tackle it myself.

Tommy rang me and came promptly around an hour later to offer a quote. He didn't mess me around.

The quote was agreed and work was started immediately the following morning. No waiting.

There was a minor mishap when my dining room window was accidentally broken by one of Tommy's lads during the work, but Tommy was extremely professional about it and promptly called in someone to replace the window pane the following day.

If I pointed out anything that I wanted rectifying (e.g. when soil was put in my household waste bin instead of my garden recycling bin) Tommy was straight onto his lads to sort it out to make sure I was satisfied.

The kids now have a garden to play out in, instead of a jungle that is unusable! Everything is tidy, and the job was done as agreed. It's now a nice space to sit out in.

I paid a 10% deposit after some of the work had been done, and I paid the rest after everything was completed. I would never pay upfront (as I said, I'm wary), but Tommy was fine about this, and made sure everything was finalised as agreed.

I wouldnt even give them 1 star he is a con and if you hire them because you have a disability do not hire them he came and wanted £160 for using a grass trimmer to cut the grass on both front and back garden, leave all the trimmings grass all over my car and reseeding was a spade hit on the top and grass cutting thrown on top and then top it off when confronted he started shouting and making a scene for the whole street.

A rapid response to the job posted and it was a massive challenge and that is not an understatement!.I would use this company again for further projects to enhance my reclaimed gardens.
