Had a shoot here today , and I'm really pleased with how the images have turned out . Hallam mill is a brilliant place and Jim is extremely easy to work with and so welcoming , I will definitely be returning in the future.

I recently had a family photo shoot at Hallam Mill Studio with Jim. I am super pleased with the photos.

I really wanted some family pictures but I was worried about it beforehand as my husband usually hates having his picture taken and we have an unpredictable 1 year old. Luckily we were all put at ease straight away as Jim is just lovely. Not only that but Jim managed to make my little boy laugh straight away and we have some really natural smiley photos that Jim managed to capture very quickly.

The studio at the mill is impressive too as we have both traditional backgrounds on the pictures which my parents love but also some quirky photos too . I would definitely recommend Jim to others. More...

My daughter and her friends had the best time at Hallam Mill Photography. As a birthday surprise I arranged for her and her friend to have hair and makeup done with their favourite tunes playing followed by a photo shoot.

Wow what an experience they all had. Jim was fantastic with them made them all feel at ease and they absolutely loved posing.

The pictures were incredible. First class service and a magical experience

I was so impressed I booked in for my two daughters to have a portrait done the perfect present for their grannies birthday.

A great spacious studio with helpful operator. Check local directions, ( we went adrift and a lot of "No through roads" around it.)

This studio is absolutely brilliant - not only does Jim have everything you could possibly ever need hidden away, but he's incredibly friendly and accommodating. Jim is a top photographer. We booked in for a half day doing corporate shots for my company and from the start Jim made us both feel at ease and produced some great shots. The venue- the mill offers you a variety of options for your photo shoot. This is great if you plan on traditional ones as gifts but wish to have some funky modern ones for yourself. The huge windows make for a great frame to some dramatic images. With ample props you won't run short of ideas.There is a separate changing area with mirrors and sockets should you wish to take various clothing etc.The photographer- Jim is an excellent photographer who will make you feet comfortable in the surroundings. He is open to your ideas but also offers some great suggestions should your imagination be limited. Great with kids and makes the experience worthwhile.
