What makes a great website?
This is a good question, from our point of view a good website needs:
- Why you choose created your business and should include your personality within it.
- A great user experience, which is functional and easy to navigate.
- Accessibility and responsiveness, Mobile 1st approach.
- A recognisable brand.
- To be visually appealing and informative.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
Understanding you and your business is really important, but also an indication of your budget. This helps us to choose the right options. We have created some packages that help with this question, but we want to help.
Typical questions we might ask are:
- What are the goals of the business?
- What does your company value most?
- Who is the audience and how does the service help them?
- How do you want your customers to feel when interacting with your company?
- What does success look like, what ROI are you expecting? etc.
Describe your creative process.
We start with a chat and this is either video, voice or face to face, it is whatever suits you. During the conversation we will glim from you what your likes and dislikes are, how you would like to interact with your clients and your style of communication. We will take all this information and provide you a brief, a simple mock-up of your site and design principles. Once you are happy, we will look to start building your masterpiece. On completion you have the opportunity to makes changes and once signed off, we will go live.
Throughout this whole process a dedicated delivery manager will be available to you and we will also provide you access to our tools so you can see progress (if you want).
What information do you need from a client before you can start work?
Typically we don't need much. We will have an initial conversation where we ask the questions, find out the things you like and dislike. From this we can start to pull together visuals to help you see what your website could be.
What do you love most about your job?
What we love is a good challenge, seeing a business be successful through our creativity. We really get excited when our client gets us involved in their business.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Small companies have a sense of passion and unity not found in larger enterprises. I began Tru Digital because I love being part of the growth and struggle startup companies bring. Providing digital expertise lets me be a part of many other growing companies and their unique culture.
