Cowboys/Conmen. We used Trelawny for a loft conversion, quoted £34,400, paid half upfront but after 16 weeks we have only had £7,000 of work completed as confirmed by 2 professional companies.
They no longer acknowledge our phone calls or emails, nobody has been on site since the 13th December yet they are still trading and taking on new jobs. The office on Wortley Road, Leeds has been abandoned and they are not paying suppliers.
We are not the only people who they have taken 50% upfront and only done a fraction of the work. There have been several reports to action fraud against them.
