Relationship and Marriage Counselling
Tina and Jasper were very warm. We met them twice. However we were very disappointed that we were encouraged to sign up for the weekend retreat as this package we were told would be cheaper and we would be working with other couples at least 3 others.
On the night we received a text message stating that they were looking forward to seeing us. To our surprise we were the only couple there. We felt that we could have been informed before hand that no other couple would be available and given the opportunity to continue or opt out. So based on the lack of transparency we have rated 3 stars.
Also we had to provide our own lunch we felt that a fee of £150 each for a sit down session was a lot to pay for lunch not to be included.

Hi Karen, Thank you for your feedback. I am really so very sorry you were unhappy. If you had mentioned this at the time we would have been delighted to have rearranged you both to a better attended weekend. We saw you when we did in order to fit around your needs rather than our own. Most of our marriage couples prefer to have the weekend to themselves. You had even more of our time for us to answer your questions and deal with your particular situation! It would have cost a lot more for you both to have attended weekly and you had more of our time given others weren't attending. We decided to give you our one to one treatment (and not charge you the extra due given your circumstances) as mentioned on the invoice). Nine hours of marriage coaching from two professionals for £300 total is extremely good value. We have been doing this for three years and have never had a complaint to date. Indeed, we generally get referred to by previous attendees. Please let us know if you are able to find Marriage counselling or coaching for £16.70pp per hour. We would happily refer people on a tight budget there! As mentioned at the time, we offer snacks and refreshments (fresh coffee, fruit, nuts, chocolate, juice etc) throughout the weekend but encourage people to bring a packed lunch themselves especially if they have food intolerances. Also, I believe we met three times, once on New Years Eve? We enjoyed meeting with you and we really hope that the time we spent will be of great benefit to you both.
