About

Hi I am Chris, my journey to becoming a personal trainer started about 15 years ago, when as an overweight dad of two, struggling to run 3 miles I decided I needed to do something about it. I went in at the deep end and entered a race called the Marathon De Sables (150 miles over 6 days through the Sahara Desert) and after three years of training managed to complete it, from there I have done a few more ultra-marathons some normal marathons and more recently represented GB age group in the World Triathlon Championships.

30 Day Challenge
Chris developed a '30 Day Challenge' idea and then motivated me to take part during the initial period of lock-down, his drive and good humour has kept me focused since March 20.
In that initial period he constantly given me advice on running technique, pacing myself to achieve success, diet & he delivered the motivation needed to achieve my initial goal of a 10 mile run. Subsequently he has developed a cycling challenge, half marathon challenge and now for the first time I am attempting open water swimming.
Chris has been the positive force I needed to complete each challenge.

Chris helped me train and get fit for the London to Paris bike ride. I can honestly say I could not have completed the challenge without his expertise. He kept the training regime fun, different and challenging and it was great to see improvements so quickly. Chris checked in regularly on the days we weren’t training to make sure I stayed on track! I have been working with Chris since the start of 2020 and the experience has been fantastic!! A great variety of work outs and motivational targets means that I am constantly challenged and looking forward to the next work out. Have been running with Chris to improve my speed and technique. Each week is varied and fun. After training with Chris I ran my fastest 5k and improved my fitness.

We run in a group and Chris is great at having a plan for all abilities. I love the fact we do something different every week and I can do things I never thought I could.

I would highly recommend Chris for training with running or personal training.

Chris is very knowledgeable in all areas of fitness from cardio to strength to injury management. Whatever your training needs, he has you covered. If you have a specific goal in mind or just want to keep fit I would highly recommend him. He leads by example and has accomplished some crazy challenges in his time which I’m sure he can tell you all about when you sign up.

I’ve been training with Chris for over a year now and have lost 15kg, tightened up all over, visibly seen the biggest difference to my physique since high school. I could not swim more than 5 mins when I first started but have since done an Olympic length triathlon and hoping to do a half Ironman in October.
