Joseph renovated the whole property from the ground up. It had not been touched for many years and required complete refurbishment. Joseph navigated the whole project and due to the ease at which he managed our project we decided to add a room in the loft. We got a basic package of drawings from the engineers and architects which were sketchy but Again Joseph was able to apply his expertise of being a builder for 20yrs,& using a mathematical brain to work things out. I have purchased a large Edwardian house in Pembroke Crescent, Hove. I was recommended Total Construction and Renovation by friend who were very pleased with the loft conversion he had recently built for them. The house was in need of extensive work and I asked Joseph to carry out some structural openings which he did neatly and quickly. I initially was looking to get 2 new bathrooms fitted but I kept increasing the amount of work to include a new kitchen, the whole property replastered throughout, new doors inside and out and complete redecoration of both interior and exterior and other jobs too numerous to mention! This was a complex and big job (about 6,500 sq ft) involving lots of complications and split levels. Nonetheless the team work tirelessly in all weathers to achieve a fantastic result. The bricklaying and patio slabs are done to an exacting standard. Joseph and the team are clearly perfectionist. The job was very large and complex with 2 patios, many levels and steep slopes, a vegetable garden, large pond, stream, 2 long paths and 3 sets of steps, as well as around 60 tonnes of waste, old bricks and vegetation to remove and in filling. The work has been done to an exacting standard with care taken on every detail. The construction is of very high quality. Total Construct completed a ground floor rear extension, loft conversion and complete house renovation. The work included installation of three bathrooms, a large kitchen, plastering, painting, tiling, fitting of new stairs and new flooring throughout. The final result is amazing! A very tired and dilapidated 3 bedroom house has been transformed into a beautiful, 5 bedroom, 3 bathroom large house. I have used good builders previously, but Total Construct have been the best! We highly recommend Joseph. He is very polite, friendly and easy to work with. He worked really hard over long hours to make sure the work was done before we moved in, and the work was done to a very high standard with attention to detail. We couldn't fault him. If additional issues arose as he went along, he took them in his stride and dealt with them without any complaints. He pointed out a leak in our ceiling (that we wouldn't have otherwise noticed until it rained heavily!) and made sensible suggestions about how we could deal with issues in other areas that we asked for his opinion about. Joseph and his team carried out the restoration of the ground floor of my Edwardian house to very highest standard. The care and attention to detail given by Joseph gave me great confidence in his ability to produce work of outstanding quality. His, and his guys, skills across different areas from plastering to plumbing, tiling to joinery were were excellent. Furthermore, on difficult parts of the job, such as hand sanding and oiling Edwardian floorboards, Joseph not only showed skill but patience and good humour. Indeed, it is perhaps Joseph's caring and positive personality that enabled the real transformation I was seeking.
Joseph was able to foresee possible difficulties and recommend positive solutions; his advice was always worthwhile and saved me from numerous self imposed problems. This is because he and his team have extremely good experience across different skills and types of work. Joseph was always punctual and did not accept any other work until my job was complete so there were no missing days in nearly six weeks of work. As well as being a tidy worker he always cleaned away thoroughly each night.

SIMPLY SUPERB IN EVERY WAY! We employed Joseph to renew and reconfigure two bathrooms in my home. The work was finished today and I have to say I am TRUELY impressed with their work.
These guys really know what they're doing.
We were under time constraint due to planned holiday. Joseph and his mate started right away and worked over 12 HOURS DAYS non stop for three weeks to complete the jobs. Incredible quality of work, attention to detail and always have useful suggestions on layout etc. These guys are meticulous, be it, plumbing, electrics, plastering, fitting, or tiling. The result - I now have 5 star hotel bathrooms. They genuinely want to exceed client's expectations. And they leave everything clean and tidy at the end of the day.

BEST OF ALL - THEIR PRICE, WHICH IS VERY REASONABLE INDEED. they have earned every penny.
I am so impressed, that I have booked them to fit new kitchen, wardrobes and decorate the whole house.

Amazing job - Two modern bathrooms with exceptional tilling, quality and attention to detail. Excellent advice when required and flexibility.

For the main bathroom - they stripped the old bathroom down, levelled out the wall, amazing porcelain tilling job top to bottom and on the floor, brilliant feature wall in the shower space. They were skilled in all parts of the job including plumbing, electrics, building, bathroom fitting and tilling. The shower in particular is an amazing fitting.

For the smaller bathroom - a totally exceptional use of smaller space, with wall hung toilet, sink and units. Fitting of a Pivot Shower enclosure and once again amazing tilling with walls, floor and feature wall.

I cannot recommend Total Construct II enough....I will be using them again for other parts of the house in the near future.

I hired Joseph and his team for a complete refurbishment of my one bedroom flat which was in a very poor condition. It was a big job involving a lot of work as there was so much that needed to be done.
Joseph's quotation was very reasonable and there were no hidden charges/add-ons in the quotation. Joseph also gave a realistic timescale for the job and it was very accurate. They worked very quickly and without any fuss. The job has now completed and I am absolutely delighted with the quality of the work.
From beginning to end, Joseph and his team were an absolute delight to deal with. They were courteous at all times, and communicated anything that needed to be communicated to me very well. They were considerate and polite to my neighbours, and I received no complaints.
I also liked Joseph's attitude. Nothing was a problem. He had a sensible solution for any unanticipated issues that arose.
They also carried out additional unanticipated works that I had not included in the specification, at no additional charge. There were several times throughout the project where Joseph helped me with things that he did not need to (for example, he drove me to IKEA to choose a wardrobe, at no charge).

A very highly skilled team with great attention to detail and also very helpful with design ideas if you are not 100% sure of how you think things will look. Covered literally everything we could possibly need from electrics, plumbing, underfloor heating, carpentry, tiling and many more things, which saved us soo much time and effort knowing we could rely on Total Construct II for everything.
