Knightor Winery is incredible. We chose Knightor for our big day and we could not be more pleased we did. The venue itself is beautiful and well-maintained. All the staff are beyond helpful. I have to give special thanks to Jess, she helped us organise our day and was so accommodating of our requests, they were very helpful when we had to bring our wedding forwards by 6 months. On the day everything ran smoothly and exceeded our expectations. We stayed in the house the night before and the night of the wedding, it was kept warm by the log fire and the rooms were beautifully presented. We decorated the venue the day before and we were able to create what we had imagined; they even took down all their Christmas decorations for us. As we had not envisaged a Christmas wedding this meant so much to making the picture we had, a reality. The food was fantastic, all our guests commented on the quality of the food. We chose the Big BBQ and many people have said the pulled pork was the best they had ever eaten. I loved the Lamb and lentil salad. I have also heard the evening food was amazing, unfortunately I didn't have any which I regretted for the 48 hours following the wedding. Liam was responsible for our drinks and provided us with custom cocktails which were very delicious and extremely popular. He helped with our wine selection, we chose all Knightor's own wine and we were not disappointed. Even guests who normally do not drink wine enjoyed it. Everyone had the most enjoyable day and night. I just wanted to say a massive thank you, everyone was so helpful with arranging my husband's 30th party. The whole team at Knightor were fantastic, we had the best time, the disco was amazing. The food was certainly some of the best food we have ever had and so many of our guests commented on how fantastic it was. We will definitely be returning! The BEST roast we have EVER eaten. The wine was really fruity and again one of the best we had drunk. We both chose the meat option, one having pork the other beef- everything on the plate was just so tasty, plenty of veg & a varied selection of it. The potatoes were cooked to perfection as was the meat. It was a complete taste sensation- every mouthful was divine and we certainly did not want it to end. My wife and I got married at Knightor in July and it was the perfect choice for our wedding. From start to finish Jess and the rest of the staff were fantastic, their relaxed, friendly but professional approach really helped make everything as stress free as possible. Everything on the day went perfectly, the food was amazing and all the guests had a brilliant time. It is such a beautiful venue and has a really nice, relaxed atmosphere. Having the farmhouse to stay in was ideal, especially for those in the family with children and the breakfast the day after was excellent! We wanted to say the biggest thank you, to the team at Knightor and everyone involved. We had the best day of our lives (cheesy, but so true! ). We knew what we wanted, and Anna (and the poor chefs) went with our picnic idea! We had a ridiculous amount of compliments on the food, especially the scotch eggs, we had to tell our german relatives that they would be now very very very disappointed if they ever had a scotch egg again! Breakfast… Well, I’m glad I wasn’t hungover, as I did not want to miss that! It was also stunning, and a great way to keep our celebrations going! We especially want to say thanks to Liam who was there until the end of the night, he was lovely and it made our lives so much easier having the decorations on the bar in the morning. Basically, we knew we had picked a beautiful venue but everything exceeded our expectations! Thank you again from Mr & Mrs Walker-Sünderhauf (still can't get my head around our new name... )! Knightor Winery - a hidden gem in the stunning Cornish countryside. We had a fantastic evening tasting cornish wines, eating tasty delicious produce/ cuisine, but for me the creme de la creme was Jake Conway - wine connoisseur and tour guide. We got married here on Saturday. Knightor is faultless. I'm not particularly easy to please, and neither is my new husband, however from start to finish they made everything easy. Nothing was too much trouble, the venue is beautiful and reasonably priced. They gave us guidance throughout and made the whole planning experience really enjoyable. On the actual day the operation is so slick you don't notice all the organisation happening around you. All our guests commented on how beautiful it was and how amazing the food was. We had Anna look after us mainly but also met Cathryn and Jess. I can honesty say this venue is perfect for anyone wanting an intimate venue with a super personal service.
