After seeing all Bec’s posts of gorgeous cakes I was looking forward to having a celebration where I could ask Bec to make the cake and she didn’t disappoint! I had an idea of what I wanted on the cake but had no idea how this would look on a cake. She took my ideas and transformed them into the most wonderful cake! I just had the best macarons I’ve ever had. I really mean that not just the visuals and the texture but the balance of flavour was perfect. Not many people can get the balance of flavour absolutely perfect. Up there with top pastry chefs. Bec is on her well deserved Xmas break now but I urge anyone to order some of these macarons from the new year. They’re such a treat and came in a lovely little box. £8.50 for four for that level of skill is very good value for money. I would have paid double and I’m broke. I attended the Macaroon masterclass today and I cannot thank Bec enough for all her help and tips ! Attended the Cupcake and Toppers Class on Saturday 25 November. Absolutely brilliant mornin, was given a very warm welcome, and met some lovely ladies. Bec was an excellent teacher, really encouraging with very clear, helpful directions. Thrilled with the results of the morning's work (as were family and friends who benefitted from it �). I've eaten lots of cakes from TLBB. I can't get enough. Amongst other things we had the amazing chocolate dragon cup cakes for James' birthday in 2016, and the incredible small world cake for mum's birthday earlier this year. We also had a mixed selection of macarons and cupcakes for another birthday in May and some of those beautiful Easter cupcakes. As you can tell we love the delicious flavours, the amazing textures and the detailed designs of Bec's cakes. I recommend them to everyone looking for a cake/cupcakes/macarons. Wow! Lost for words really. The cake looked awesome and tasted even better than it looked (which I thought would be impossible). The design was brilliant and the actual cake was rich, moist and chocolatey. What more could you ask for? On Wednesday evening this week I contacted three little birds for a cake I needed on Friday for my daughters birthday, it was a huge ask with only 2 days to go as I was let down by another cake maker last minute. I am absolutely over the moon with the lion guard cake we asked for and received today, my daughter can't wait to show all her friends at her party tomorrow.
