A friendly yet professional and fully insured dog walking service. We will collect your dog and take them for a nice long walk with some of our other friendly dogs giving them some much needed exercise and social interaction. We enjoy a mixture of on and off lead walking once trust has been built and like to vary our walks up so we get to see (and smell) lots of different places.

Maggie spent a couple of days at The Pawchester at short notice and is returning again for her summer holidays. Felt so at ease from the very start and the team made sure I was kept up to date with Maggie's stay. In two short days she made it to the beach, the countryside and countless walks, as well as garden play. Keith was dedicated to the stick and ball throwing demands of an obsessive Springer Spaniel, such that she was disappointed to come home! Thanks for taking such good care of her. More...

Well what can I say leaving your pet in the care of someone else is a daunting thought. But from the moment we had our first visit Bette hit it off straight away. she had an amazing time We would highly recommend to anyone who is looking for dog sitting or boarding, we live in Huddersfield and would gladly make the journey for her to go there every time. As a very protective owner of two young dogs I have been reluctant to trust anyone with their care after a disappointing kennel experience last year. My dogs are used to very long, adventurous off lead walks therefore it was imperative for us that we could engage a professional and experienced dog walker whom the dogs would trust who would be experienced enough to continue with off lead walking. We have been absolutely delighted with the services provided by The Pawchester Hotel. We had an introductory familiarisation walk with Keith and it was clear from the start he would care for my dogs like his own. He was patient and calm with both dogs from the start and over the week has built up an amazing rapport with both dogs who have very different personalities and needs. They have enjoyed long, off lead fun walks and on return have been left clean with water and settled. Keith has even hoovered to ensure the house remained spotless after some fun muddy walks. What do you love most about your job?
I love working with dogs and being outdoors so being my own boss doing something I truly enjoy is like a dream come true. I thrive on giving great service and although I haven't been going long my 5 star reviews on Google, Facebook and Yell are quickly mounting up and increasing all the time.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I've operated my own business previously as well as managing businesses for other people so I felt this experience as well as my love of dogs and determination to always give great service were some key ingredients to build a successful business. I'd gone as far as I wanted in my previous career and the thought of building something from scratch and giving myself something to be proud of excited me so I took the plunge and handed my notice in.
Why should our clients choose you?
I'm not totally focused on making money. I know other dog walkers who pick up dogs and wander around the same field 3 or 4 times a day, every day, but I want to enjoy what I do. Cramming as much work as possible into a day but not enjoying it is not what I want. I like discovering new places and will always vary things up on our walks. I'll also think nothing of heading to the beach whenever possible because there's nothing better than seeing a pack of dogs running around in the sea having the time of their lives.
