Excellent venue for my nieces wedding/ reception,weather could have been better but didn't spoil their perfect day,had a fantastic time.

Have been to the White Heather on a few occasions for Sunday Carvery and I must say the family always look forward to going and we are never disappointed. The food is always A1. Meat is always tender and tasty, the veg are always hot and the staff can’t do enough for you. Also had the pleasure of the White Heather for my cousins wedding and again the whole day and night was excellent and I would not hesitate to recommend The White Heather to anyone. A very sweet marquee venue with a selected beer choice (no draft bitters) but good buffet food and lovely lighting.....Ample parking. ....friendly staff and never been here before but would consider using it for a party venue in the future. More...

Cannot fault anything about this place the food the staff the grounds are all second to none nothing is too much trouble for the staff i will be calling again soon to try the carvery...very proffesional people

After another ten …MoreArrived yesterday for Sunday lunch but had not been booked.A very very young girl asked us to wait in the garden room.After 15 minutes I went to enquire at the bar what was happening to be told they were laying a table.After another ten minutes went to find out if table was ready and same young girl asked my name.Not good need someone with authority taking charge.They had a wedding fair on and it was not good people eating Sunday lunch and young couples coming through to view ceremony room.Since New Years Day the garden room has been very much improved.The meal was very good when at last we got it.Wont be rushing back as they seem very low on staff which spoils the experience.I worked in catering and know it is hard work but they need to know which tables they are serving and stick to them We came home for dessert and tea coffee.They have a very nice place there which could be loads better.Dont think I would want a wedding there More...

What a wonderful place. I've attended a few weddings and well organised charity events here. The staff are always friendly and welcoming. well worth a look.

Its the first time i have been here.The building inside is lovely. We went for a sunday lunch which you can help yourself to the veg,potatoes. The food was nice,average.The only downside was the cauliflower cheese it tasted like its out of a packet not fresh. The gravy i prefer it thick alot of places make the mistake of runny gravy. Great value where you can have 2/3 courses for under £15. The staff were friendly and attentive.would go again. More...
