Visited a Friday lunchtime. Great welcome (Isabella was it) friendly. Had whitebait starter (enough for 2!) but the ploughman's lunch platter was really good. Great value. Was mixed two cheeses, thick sllices of ham and a warm mini pork pie with usual wally (big gerkin), big pickled onion, sweet pickle and warm mini baguette. Very filling.... very fresh. may be good to offer just (more) cheese or the mixed version. Great selection of beers and mixture of music being played really good too! All round, a good few hours spent. Definitely coming back. More...

First time here and it was amazing. Had seats in an area that was cosy and looked like a library. My daughter loved the fact that she could look at books or buy them and the proceeds went to the swan sancturary. The food was amazing and totally home made. We had the pies, burger and the gravy was so yummy. But what made this visit amazing was the staff. They were friendly, curteous and made you feel totally at home. This was our first visit and we are definitely coming back x x More...
