Very impressive place with long driveway through grounds and nice traditional English pub decor. The food (festive afternoon tea) was extremely tasty and well presented and coffee was good too. Strange atmosphere as when we arrived there were no other customers and no staff in sight. Good food and surroundings outside nice ,think a bit of updating needs doing in dining room and toilets . Didn’t have dessert as took to long to take orders which is when asked for bill never came had to ask Twice so decided to go to bar to pay ,very disappointing service don’t think we will be returning.

Let me start by saying, this review is long overdue and I apologise for that! The Villa Wrea Green is an absolutely incredible venue! If you are considering The Villa Wrea Green for your wedding or event, you will not regret it! My husband and I had our wedding here on 7th September 2018 - it was the perfect choice for our intimate, english wedding. We travelled from Washington DC for our wedding in the UK, as I'm originally from Thornton-Cleveleys. We had guests from all over America and from as far Australia. Throughout the planning months, Kathryn and her team were fantastic and always made themselves available to take my call. Planning a wedding from overseas is never easy, but the Villa team were there every step of the way supporting me. Kathryn, we could never thank you enough for making this the most incredible day of our lives. Our guests have not stopped raving about our wedding, and how unique and amazing it was. You can see from the photos how amazing this venue looks, but nothing can compare to the vibe you can feel just being there and the passion that all the staff have for this venue. This was the first venue we looked at and we knew from the moment we found it that it was the one for us and worth our guests travelling for. It is such a versatile space to accommodate small or large groups while maintaining a sense of intimacy, warmness and cosyness. And you would never find another venue that could offer the personal touches to your day that the Villa does. I wish I could go back there every week, but lucky for me, my mum is having her 60th there in December, so I will get to experience the wonderful venue all over again. What can I even say that will do this venue justice. We had our wedding on Easter Sunday and it was every bit perfect. The pavilion is such a great look for a wedding the lights at night give it such a magical feeling. The great hall has a fabulous traditional feel for a ceramony before it's on to the fun. We hired the parlour room for getting ready and it's such a fun addition to any bridal party. We cannot thank Kathryn enough for all her help support and professionalism. Kathryn has been on hand at all times resolving any issues we had. Nothing is too much for her she is a superstar. Kathryn goes above and beyond to make sure you have the perfect day tailored to you personally. We cannot thank the villa and Amber enough for everything they did for our wedding day, a couple of weeks ago. From the minute we were shown around we knew this was the place where we wanted to get married. However our biggest thank you goes to Amber, our wedding coordinator, what an amazing fun, positive and hardworking lady to be working alongside with. Every time we ‘popped’ into the villa she welcomed us as friends and anything we asked was never too big of an ask. She went over and above on many occasions. We held my daughters 30th Birthday Party here last week & I cannot recommend the venue highly enough. From first booking Kathryn was on hand right through until we checked out the next day. What an AMAZING place, this was the first place I looked at to have my wedding and I was in awe from the moment I drove up the drive and knew instantly this was the place! ! Right from the offset the staff were extremely nice and welcoming, Kathryn the wedding planner was fantastic and worked with me to make my wedding day perfect! The food is great. Beautiful hotel. We used The Villa for our wedding on the 9th August and we couldn’t recommended the venue enough. All the staff were amazing especially Amber the day before and morning of the wedding. My biggest thanks is to Kathryn, she was incredible from the day we booked it over 2 years ago! We couldn’t have done it without her.
