I couldn't have been happier with the flowers for our wedding! Everything was absolutely gorgeous - the bouquets were perfect and went so beautifully with the bridesmaid's dresses and the kilts, and the style was exactly what I'd wanted. The buttonholes and corsages likewise, and we had so many admiring comments from our guests about the arrangements. Kate also made excellent suggestions about transferring some arrangements from the chapel to the reception to get more use out of them, all of which worked fantastically. I didn't know much about flowers and went into all this not really knowing where to start, but Kate was so friendly and helpful throughout that she made the whole process a pleasure. I highly recommend Kate of The Stockbridge Flower Company for your wedding flowers; she is lovely to deal with and excellent at what she does. I loved my gorgeous wedding bouquet so beautifully prepared by Kate. As I organised my wedding from Australia, Kate spent time explaining the different flowers available and sent me pictures which gave me a good idea of what to expect for my wedding. I was absolutely delighted at my bouquet as well as my three bridesmaids’ bouquets. They were better than I had even imagined and the flowers for our head table were also stunning. My bouquet lasted for so many days after our wedding - amazing! Kate is absolutely amazing and I could not recommend her highly enough! I live in Chicago so was planning my Edinburgh wedding remotely, which could be daunting for any bride- but Kate was a complete dream! As someone who wasn’t sure exactly what she wanted and didn’t know a ton about flowers, and not being able to pop into the shop for a chat or to look at flowers, I am completely blown away by how beautifully Kate helped me figure out what I wanted, and executed that vision perfectly. Honestly, my flowers were one of my favorite parts of the day which was the most beautiful surprise! They were gorgeous and I have gotten too many compliments on them to count. On top of that, Kate is an excellent, kind, and prompt communicator, a vital quality for anyone planning a long distance wedding. She is so sweet and truly went above and beyond for me- she even came back to the venue the morning after the wedding to pick up and then drove to donate all our flowers and bouquets to a hospice, since we were all traveling back to America and wouldn’t be able to bring them home. Her prices are extremely fair as well! When my daughter first met Kate, she wasn’t sure what flowers she wanted and was a little overwhelmed by all the possibilities. However, Kate was able to translate her thoughts and ideas into the most gorgeous bouquets and table arrangements that were just what she wanted. We have just returned from honeymoon and wanted to send a quick message to say thanks a million for the utterly gorgeous flowers! Kate from the Stockbridge flower company did an amazing job of our wedding flowers - wedding was the 28th December so a bit of a challenge for fresh flowers but they were fabulous - lovely rich dark reds for the time of year, gorgeous bouquets, lovely button holes and amazing table candalabras the flowers were stunning. I cannot recommend Kate highly enough. She picked up exactly what I wanted from our first meeting and was brilliant to deal with and became a friend through the process. Due to unforeseen circumstances we had to cancel our wedding the day before but Kate delivered all the flowers to our home and they were stunning. All the table centres went to the intended recipients ( grateful aunties etc.!) and in the end I managed to use my tulip bouquet when we got married very quietly a week later. When I asked her if she could make me another bouquet for our reconvened reception a few weeks ago she refused payment and it was also stunning ( pink hydrangeas this time). She also made lovely matching posies for my flower girls and stunning bouquets which my husband ordered as a surprise for thank you gifts. I cannot begin to tell you have marvellous and fantastic Kate made our wedding day. It was no tall order that we only had three weeks to sort something out and Kate really came through. With her very affable manner to her positivity and ability to get things done.Going that extra mile to make sure we had all the "leftovers" to our house too which was amazing!
