From initial enquiry to service on the night, Jackie and her team were really 5 star.We didn't have a buffett but went with canapes for a 50th party for 50 people - from lovely red onion and chutney tartlets, to prawns and chicken and mango bites and more, the food tasted lovely. Booked The Sandwich Board to cater for a funeral at just a few days' notice and received good professional service right from my initial enquiry. Good choice of food and flexibility about the food we wanted. Excellent variety of sandwiches which were generously filled and cakes, especially the carrot cake, were gorgeous. Some guests were spotted wrapping up slices of cake to take home! Staff were courteous, helpful and made a difficult event run smoothly. Used the Sandwich Board for a joint children's party. My little boy had been to a party that they catered for, and my friend said it saved her so much work and hassle. The quality of the food boxes was great, and the service was really good. They really understand children's parties and gave me great advice. I was going to have the large box, but Jacqui said that for my age of children, the middle box (bumblebee I think) would be more than enough. It was my first time ordering party food boxes from the Sandwich Board, but I will certainly use them again. The service was excellent, the food was really good and it was delivered bang on time. I couldn't have done the food myself for what it cost me - it really was good value. It was great not having to collect it - they brought it to the hall where we were having the party, and it arrived when I asked for it. Ten out of ten! More...
