Been to the red lion, had a wonderful mix grill the portion size was plentiful and all cooled beautifully, I eat my steak rare and it always comes out over done but at the red lion it came out perfectly the atmosphere was brilliant not to busy and loud to enjoy and lovely meal but not quite like we was sat in silence. Would happily recommend to anyone who wants to go for a beautiful well priced meal . 5/5 all day long!!! More...

Unbelievable value for money two mains for £14 the food was delicious our party ate pies, lasagne and pizza.
.we were very impressed by the portion sizes, presentation and home cooked food by a passionate chef who checked we were all enjoying our food. The bar staff were fab really welcoming, First time going in and I felt more at home than I do in my locals. Entertainment was fab card bingo and quizzes great athmosphere. Customers views were also taken into account when the landlord and bar manager were picking colour schemes...and curtains For a revamp!

The service was absolutely amazing, Sophie and Paul made all of my family and friends feel welcome on what was a very sad day for us all.

Thank you for going the extra mile for us and offering to open earlier for us even though your competition would not.
I cannot recommend this place highly enough, 5 stars are not enough to award. This place deserves at least a 10, and it will only get better.
My complements to the chef, food was excellent and delicious, we will be back on a personal visit as well as bringing the car club back with us for dinner
