I have engaged The Property Presenters to renovate and stage my one bedroom house in Hertford and have been working with them for almost 9 months as not only have they project managed a full renovation, they've also fully staged / furnished the house for the duration of the time on the market.
I live in Australia so the entire project and co-operation was run virtually and via emails - rather daunting experience to start with but I couldn't have been happier with the choice!
Amanda & Leigh were amazingly patient, always contactable, fully understood my brief, budget and final goal.
They've managed the entire renovation on my behalf, kept me up to date and achieved an amazing result - my house has been transformed to an amazing space, been valued at the top of the price range and has attracted a serious buyer straight away.

We have used the property presenters on 2 of our projects, one was a two bedroom house the other was a 4 bedroom bungalow, they came to visit a few weeks before hand to see the style of the properties , then we were asked the look we wanted to achieve , a few days later we received a mood board of their ideas, if we didn't like a particular piece of furniture they suggested alternatives.
To be honest their idea were amazing, everything they did was put together with great thought, even the prospective buyers loved the looks and were able to buy the furniture which was an added bonus.
We would 100% use them again, which we will when the 5 - bedroom house we are building is finished.
I would highly recommend Leigh & Amanda they are lovely ladies with fantastic ideas to show your property to its best.

I really cannot recommend Amanda and Leigh highly enough. It is no understatement to say that their work was the difference between me selling my flat and sitting on it for months.
I had a fair few months of very limited interest before I hired Amanda and Leigh and, within a matter of weeks, had four offers.
The quality of their work was exceptional and I was delighted with the end result. The estate agent also commented that it was one of the best staging they had ever seen.
Quite apart from the quality of their offering, they are both an absolute pleasure to deal with. If ever a service was worth 5 stars, it was this.

Thank goodness for Staging!
I had viewed a few properties before I found my new home. The moment I walked into the property I felt at home, like I was being given a great big hug, that Ahh feeling, I just wanted to kick my shoes off and make myself at home.
Amanda & Leigh from The Property Presenters had staged the property to perfection, it was difficult not to fall in love with it! My house was one of two new builds but the next door was unfurnished and therefore uninspiring so there was no competition. I loved it so much I bought the whole contents of the Show Home!
I don’t know why anyone would sell an empty property, especially a new development. So, if you’re looking for a staging company, The Property Presenters are the ones to use!

Our empty 3 bedroom flat was on the market for a number of months with no offers. We decided to have the property staged to give the impression the flat looked lived in and more welcoming.
We decided on The Property Presenters because they were friendly and very helpful. We managed to organise this with very little effort on our part and trusted them with the keys to come and go as they pleased.
The flat looked marvellous and created many viewings. I’m pleased to say we have now sold the property.
We wouldn’t hesitate to use Amanda and Leigh again.

We had our unfurnished flat on the market for several months with no interest. Within a week of having it beautifully staged by The Property Presenters we received & accepted an offer we were really happy with.
Both Leigh & Amanda were super to deal with & knew exactly what was needed to make a flat look appealing to buyers with minimal input from us (thankfully as we had no time to spare)

Amanda & Leigh came with their home staging package, both furniture and soft furnishings, plus their expert eyes and advice.
I had an asking price offer on the first viewing with further offers after that and am convinced it was due to the work of The Property Presenters. They had ideas of layouts for my home that I’d never thought of and were able to bring light, interest and colour into the space in every room. It made me fall in love with my house all over again. We had had our house on the market for nearly a year with no suitable offers so decided to get just some advice initially, about what we could improve to make the place more appealing.
We knew some areas were a bit bare but I just couldn't decide what would "go" and look good and be in keeping with the style of the room. We also had a room where we really didn't know what to do with it, and it had become a glorified corridor with no real purpose but we also had no idea how to make better use of the space.
Amanda and Leigh gave us advice on how to improve everything and we decided to go with the full staging service and have them provide the furniture and furnishings for us (which I really needed as am so indecisive about these things!).
They did a fantastic job and we accepted an offer within 2 weeks of putting iour house back on the market.
I would highly recommend their services, especially if you have space in your house that you don't know how to best use, or if you just know some of your rooms don't feel "done" but you have no idea how to address it (or are very indecisive when picking home items). I 100% believe their house has helped us sell.

I asked Amanda to dress my property for sale and gave her free rein whch was absolutely the best thing to do as the result is stunning.
She not only completed the whole process in a short time span but the avalabilty of accessories to hire for the duration of the sale saved me a lot of money. She worked tirelessly and was even able to arrange for estate agent to visit while she was here so they could get the best possible photos.

The Property Presenters “dressed” the show home on a 4 house development we finished in March 2020.
The result was stunning.
Even with the Covid lockdown we’ve sold 3 of the 4 houses at full asking and have 3 parties interested in the last one.
100% I will use them again. I’m convinced their work was a big factor in the houses selling so effortlessly.
They were also very competitive with their pricing.

We used Optimist Design to help decorate and add the finishing touches to our lounge, kitchen and bathrooms.
Leigh was absolutely fantastic and went out of her way, time and time again to ensure we got the results we wanted.
Her commitment was outstanding and she was an absolute pleasure to work with.
Leigh has a fantastic ability to listen to her clients and really understands what they are looking for from her home.

After completing a large home extension I was left with a very large blank dining/living area to decorated but had no inspiration or idea of where to start.
Hiring Leigh gave me the confidence to experiment knowing that I had a professional to bounce my ideas off. She very quickly had a clear understanding of the styles I liked and soon came up with a detailed break down of suggestions along with where I could make purchases from. Leigh was mindful of my budget but didn't let this restrict my choices.
Without Leigh's help I would still be staring at 4 blank walls and an unfurnished room. She gave me the push I needed to take chances and create a warm, stylish and beautiful living space.

What’s your interior design process?
I always try, before an initial meeting, to get some basic information from a potential client, along with some photos if possible. I have a one-page questionnaire to help this part of the process.
At the first meeting, this is expanded to a more detailed questionnaire which is completed during a walk-through/viewing of the property as a whole and concentrating on the specific areas which the client wants to improve or change. I also try to get to know the client as well as their home, to understand their likes and dislikes, how they spend their free time. I ask them to show me something in their home which they adore. It might be a teapot, a jumper or a piece of furniture, but it's a great starting point to help someone define their style and for me to build on.
Which interior design styles can you cater for?
I'm happy to work with any interior styles, and also help a potential client to define their style if they're not sure what they like. This is a very visual process and involves browsing and discussing my 'Define your Style' portfolio, and a selection of images I take to a meeting based on the information given beforehand.
I consider myself to be adaptable and able to work across a wide spectrum of interior styles.
What do you love most about your job?
I love talking to clients about their aspirations for their homes, and working creatively to help them achieve the perfect space. Sourcing furniture, accessories and fabrics is an area I particularly enjoy, and then putting everything together to create a 'wow' for the client. It's great when a client says 'I'd never have found that table/lamp/cushion/rug myself, but I love it'. It's all about giving someone a home they want to be in and show off to friends and family, which they wouldn't be able to create on their own.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Having always had a passion for property and interiors, this was a natural choice for me, although my earlier working life was in the travel and exhibition industries, with a bit of college lecturing in the middle.
Starting my own business was the best move I ever made. I have a very strong work ethic, and Optimist Design is based around that, operating a I want it to, with my clients at the very centre of everything I do.
Why should our clients choose you?
I am often asked "What's your style?" which I always feel is an odd question. As an interior designer, I don't feel that my role is to impose my style on a client, it is to help to interpret their style, and produce a space which enhances the way they live and in which they feel happy and comfortable.
I aim to achieve this by getting to know my clients well, understanding clearly their likes and dislikes, how they live and how they want their home to feel (as well as how they want it to look). It is a very friendly and personal service, which my clients often tell me they really enjoy.
My client relationships tend to be long-term, with repeat business occurring often.
