I was looking for a makeup artist, for my Hen Party, and Wedding I came across Cheryl by chance from an item my wedding photographer posted,when I met Cheryl for the first time, she listened to what I wanted but also advised me too, my makeup for my hen party was perfect I was very nervous as never had anything like it before, my Hen squad loved it and so did I she is good at what she does, very professional uses quality products I know my wedding makeup in 2wks time will be even better I would recommend Cheryl Marie Wright to anyone looking for a professional service. I have worked with Cheryl now for 3 years where she has created all the stunning bridal and evening looks on my website and my most recent photoshoots. She has also done my makeup for many evening events and each time I have been so happy with the results.

Each time she listens to everything the client wants to achieve and gives her own advice based on her excellent knowledge of makeup and application.
Cheryl has such a natural way she forms relationships with her clients and instantly puts people at ease. Her lovely bubbly nature is perfect and she transforms peoples look keeping all the natural features of the face and when needed can create the stunning high fashion looks that would not be seen out of place in high fashion magazines. I recommend Cheryl and her business to all my clients as her work and creativity is second to none.
Cheryl gave my mum who is 69 this year, a makeup lesson as she didn’t know how to apply makeup on her mature skin, and was unsure of her products she was using. Cheryl took the time to spend with my mum explaining everything from skin care, application, recommended products and brushes yet using most of my mums makeup. She also let my mum have a go at her own application afterwards so she was totally comfortable with everything. Cheryl doesn’t clock watch and takes as long as its needed to make her clients feel a million dollars.

I was worried about finding the right makeup artist for my wedding as I was very keen on having a very natural look and I had five bridesmaids all with very different skin tones. Cheryl listened really carefully to what kind of look I was after and spent so much time considering the bridesmaids skin tone, hair colour and colours of their different dresses so I really felt like she understood what I was after! My trial was great fun and Cheryl tried out different products until I was happy. On the day of the wedding Cheryl arranged the timings really carefully so that all 5 bridesmaids, myself and 2 mothers all had their makeup done with no rushing and with time to enjoy the experience. My husband and I have just re newed our wedding vows after 26 years of marriage and I was worried I wouldn't look right as a older bride. I need mot of worried Cheryl worked her magic on me and did my makeup beautifully , she was really lovely and listened carefully to what kind of look I wanted and totally got it just right! Amazing!! very happy indeed! I booked my two little grand-daughters in for a pamper sessions whilst their brothers went to the cinema. Cheryl was absolutely amazing with them.
I discussed the 'package' with Cheryl before hand and she was so helpful putting a bespoke package together for me. The girls are 7 and 8, and are very shy but Cheryl was wonderful with them... they had drinks and sweets and Cheryl really put them at ease... I was worried they wouldn't have the session being so shy but they had the lot! I was amazed.
They had make-up and hair.. and lots of fun... the pics speak for themselves.
I will definitely go back to Cheryl - for myself as well. Thank you Cheryl and sorry it took so long to get around to the review. More...

Prom is a very big event these days and I couldn’t have chosen anyone better to do hair and make up for our daughters special day! ! Cheryl is very professional, she puts you at ease and takes time to listen to what kind of look you want to achieve and uses her experience to suggest ideas also. The Pro Makeup & Hair Styling Studio by Cheryl Marie Wright is amazing! I hired Cheryl to do my daughter Mia and her 3 friends makeup & hair for a special birthday party in November. I'd never done this sort of thing before but Cheryl immediately put my mind at ease. Cheryl was the ultimate professional from start to finish. The girls had a wonderful time. They asked questions about which makeup was best suited for their different skin types and Cheryl provided them with all the right answers. The girls told me afterwards that they loved the makeup studio experience and would definitely do it again. They were beaming when they came out. The makeup and hair they went to the party with stayed on all evening and didn't even need touching up. Amazing! What a fantastic experience! Mia said she will never forget the brilliant party she had and the makeup and hair she had done was the talk of the whole thing. A lot of her other friend were wanting to know where she'd had it done as they were all jealous, haha!
