Hayley took the time to listen to my worries and concerns regarding my son and daughter. she makes the lessons fun and engaging by planning the lessons around their hobbies and interests and I can already see their confidence growing Thanks hayley 🙂

This wonderful lady has brightened our daughters Monday evenings, full time homeschooling made so much easier. Tailored lessons to cover areas of concern and so much more. We put things on the ‘Hayley list’ which helps to keep the cogs turning. Cannot recommend Hayley enough - thank you! xx More...

Hayley has been working with my daughter who is in Year 4. She has been struggling with Maths and Literacy and the work Hayley has been doing with her has already had a positive impact and I can see her progressing each week. Hayley is engaging, motivating and my daughter is growing in confidence thanks to the sessions 🙂 More...

I wanted a tutor for my son (Key Stage 1) as it had become apparent that he was struggling to understand maths. Hayley was amazing and instantly engaged his attention. My son’s concentration sometimes wanders but Hayley brought his attention back to the work at hand everytime. She used games to make the learning fun and I don’t think my son even realised he was doing work! Hayley used a number of different learning techniques and methods to ensure my son was progressing and would keep me updated throughout. I would definitely recommend Hayley as a tutor, as she has continued to improve my son’s level of maths, which both the the teachers at school and me myself have noticed. More...

Hayley was amazing with my son who had grown to hate school, especially maths. He struggles with the difficult concepts, especially multiplication and division. His confidence was at an all time low but I could see a big improvement after just one session with Hayley. He loved the games and challenges that she used and he stayed really engaged. Hayley made sure to personalise his lesson to suit his level so that he came away feeling good about himself and with a much better understanding of the basics than he ever got in school. More...

As a teacher, it has become increasingly difficult to feel certain that you are meeting the needs of every child on the individual basis that they need. Private tutoring allows me to do this and to see students' confidence grow as they begin to understand the areas that they found confusing before.

Throughout Covid, I was being approached by parents who needed support with teaching their children at home during lockdown. I realised how valuable and rewarding online tutoring was then and I wanted to do it some more!

I am a friendly, patient and experienced qualified teacher and tutor. I have extensive CPD from my time teaching across Key Stage 1 and 2, in both Mainstream primary school settings and special school settings.

Yes. Currently I tutor via Zoom but I am also competent in using Skype and Microsoft Teams.

I now tutor online only, which has allowed me to be available to more students that need that extra bit of support. Not only that, it is much easier for parents as no travelling is involved, you are able to be present during the sessions and children love to learn with technology – not to mention the whole world is ever increasingly learning and working online nowadays!
