What an absolutely fantastic experience this little shop is a gem Run by Sarah who is the most welcoming and genuinely honest lady I have ever met my experience of shopping for cycling shoes was so easy with her, from having my feet measured to ordering. We visited today for the first time and the service we received there was fantastic,. It’s such a warm , welcoming environment with a friendly , comfortable atmosphere. The shop is well stocked with leading brands but more importantly only those that have been tried and tested make it onto the shelves..... Now onto Sarah..... I can’t praise her highly enough,.. She is a fountain of knowledge and only too pleased to help wherever possible. She give no sales pitch, no waffle... She just listened to us and then provided us several different options... Great service and so very helpful . Took a lot of time with us today to set up our bikes with the most technical computer detail. What a difference it's made. Great place full of fab bike gear. Mike and Sarah's bike fit has transformed my cycling into a year I will cherish forever. Last year following a lower back injury I wondered if I should continue cycling. Mike and Sarah spent a morning with me changing my riding position radically. I have just completed the Prudential Ride London Event and after being in the saddle fo100 miles felt fine....if a little tired! This year I have a ten mile TT personal best as well. What do you love most about your job?
I live and breath what I do. I love Triathlon and Cycling as individual sports and get great satisfaction in helping others in their sport.
What inspired you to start your own business?
My business was born out of frustration of getting wrong advise - you go to these specialist places for the right advise, Right? But actually it seems like everyone wants to just sell you what they have in stock. At The Pedal Station we only sell what we wear and use ourselves. And if we dont sell it, we send you somewhere where they do. You come first, not the bottom line.
