Where to begin - I have such a wealth of feedback it's almost extremely hard to put pen to paper. I attended Marcus's public speaking course on Wednesday 11th October. This was one of the best courses I had been on in my life. The content was fantastic - detailed, informative, exciting, challenging & extremely well put together. The learning environment was conducive - it was warm, welcoming - a real safe space & creativity, questions and interaction was encouraged and more to the point the right balance I had aims from the day and objectives - and not only were they covered - they were superseded! Marcus is professional, kind, giving, thorough, detailed, articulate, extremely professional but in the main he comes from a place of love and a desire to see a person be all they can truly be. "From Terrified to Terrific" is Marcus's mantra for the Public Speaking training day I attended a few short weeks ago and I can honestly say its true! I have just been interviewed live on the internet and I didn't stumble, mumble or feel 'terrified'. In fact the whole thing was 'terrific'. Now this is something I would have shied away from previously and would have come up with a million excuses to not show the world my worth. But Marcus was able to show me a new way. Change my mindset and give me the confidence I needed. Marcus makes you feel welcome from the very start of the training and takes you on a journey through your selves by telling his story and many others. He give excellent advice on how to overcome fear and "what's the worst that can happen". His ability to turn everything into a positive is outstanding. he has such passion and drive to give us the tools to be able to speak in front of others. The group was a mix of people needing to talk in front of large crowds, small groups, board committees, best man speeches and TV interviews - we all found our voice in that room. My favourite section of the day was being asked to speak impromptly about a random topic. Could be anything, the truth or made up. And everyone dove straight in, bigging each other up and seeing the value of DOING it not matter what. Thanks so much to Marcus Thomlinson. I had the pleasure of going along to his public speaker training day last week and I was blown away by the transformation in my public speaking skills by the end of the day. I've never been much of a public speaker, which is a skill I've been keen to improve on. Right from the start, Marcus made us feel safe, welcome, at ease and even loved. Absolutely brilliant. I've been doing Marcus' coaching programme now for a mere few months and I'm already seeing big changes in my life and feeling hugely optimistic about what's to come. I’ll start by saying I have worked particularly hard on my personal development over the past 8 years and felt that it would be hard for any life/business coach to add any more value. However, I took a chance with Marcus because he took an interest in me and I can say that his course and systems took me be surprise and I was extremely impressed with the level of thought behind it all. Marcus spoke at the Women in Project Management 2019 Conference last week and he was absolutely brilliant! His talk was both heartfelt and hilarious, and his energy on the stage epic!
