Adam has been exceptional. I have a high intensity job with long hours which means my ability to get to the gym is very limited some weeks. Nutrition and changing behaviour was a key focus. Adam has been available via whatsapp everyday and zoom sessions every couple of weeks. I did cancel on him a few times due to my availability but having him available on whatsapp was super useful as I'd send him random questions about particular foods and I'd even send him the menu of a restaurant I would be at and he'd guide me on what to order. His app has also been a great resource, to see my body transformation and also the tailored exercises he'd give me for home and at gym. I've lost 3.4kg and I'm at the lowest weight since 2020. Belt has gone back to right at the end where it should be and clothes are fitting a lot better. Most importantly was the behaviour change, no more late night eating, now regular 3 meals without any serious snacking. I'm more conscious with what I eat too. Adam is highly recommended! More...

I had not had a virtual PT before so didn’t know what to expect, but Adam was really approachable and took the time to explain how the programme would work. I wanted a programme that provided workouts and meal plans to match my level of activity, and this is what Adam did. What I found most useful was how flexible and adaptable it was. Adam regularly reviewed my level of fitness and took into account my lifestyle and habits, and adjusted the programme accordingly. When I went on holiday he suggested workouts I could do without equipment. The app is also really easy to use and has helped me to learn more about nutrition and macros.

Adam created a really individual and bespoke plan for me and kept me accountable. The weekly meetings on Teams were positive and provided support and direction for the following week. I’m lifting more than I have in the past and feel a lot stronger, and people have commented on my weight loss asking about the programme I follow. Adam and the Milner Method has been a HUGE help for me and a great experience. He has helped guard me through all my personal goal, bump, injury I have had. EG a half marathon time of 1hr35. Also, helped me so far to achieve some of my best PB and weight goals to date.

I started my journey at around 87.9kg and 18/19% body fat.

During my time with Adam I build a solid routine, a simple and easy to follow diet. Plus, have shaved off 4.5kg of weight and 3/4% body fat. Whilst gaining muscle.

I was thinking about starting a weight loss journey and needed primarily nutrition/diet help. After flicking on some sites for a few minutes it didn’t take long to loose interest. Within the hour Adam contacted me and within minutes he gave me the motivation and positivity I needed to start this journey with him.

I’m now 12 weeks in and 12KG lighter and feeling great! Ive found myself to be more confident as well as feeling much healthier. I’ve just booked in another 12 weeks to go again with Adam as a result of this success.

Adam provides weekly face to face video meetings which has been the primary push for me to keep motivated. He’s always available for questions and advice throughout and super friendly. He use’s an app which he personalised just for me which includes all the meal guides and workouts I need to strive to my goals. The app is superb and makes food and gym so clear and easy.

Couldn’t recommend Adam at the Milner Method enough! If you’re debating starting your journey then debate no more as Adam is the man for the job.

One of the best decisions I’ve made

At first, I was sceptical about approaching a paid personal trainer as I’d purchased training plans online from bodybuilders I follow on YouTube / Instagram etc, and always found that I looked good when my arms were pumped up in the gym; however the next week I’d always think, I don’t look any different. Which bit am I doing wrong, or is it just my body?

I decided to look for a 1-on-1 PT and reached out to Adam, after looking at his website content and testimonials. From day 1 of talking with Adam, he immediately got to know me personally and asked me to complete a questionnaire about my weight / height measurements, current training structure, what I typically eat etc. He then built me a plan which was specifically personal to ME, not just a generic one that you might download and pay £20 for online. The plan is so easy to follow, and it clearly laid out the number of calories I needed to consume in order to hit the goal set, including a perfect split of Fats, Carbs and Proteins - the app that Adam uses makes it so easy and achievable, whether that be pre-set meals and recipes to choose from, consistently tracking where you are with your macros throughout the day or right down to reminding you what muscle group you are training that day! You can even upload all of your body stats every day, including weight and physique photos, so that your PT can check your progress daily, plus you can use the handy messenger icon to message Adam whenever you want.

As you complete each workout on the app, you can log your weights and how many reps you managed, and the app will remind you of this the next time, making it super easy to smash PB’s!

Adam has been amazing with all the support he has given me and he has been on hand every step of my journey to ensure I stay on track! It goes to show that for anyone struggling with getting a decent looking body and unsure where to go next, there are people out there that can help you. For me, it was about stepping outside of my comfort zone and accepting help from someone, and I urge anyone who is frustrated with not getting the results they want to reach out to Adam - with his help, if you put in the time and work, the results will come!

I'm just coming to the end of my 12 weeks with Adam and have lost around 17KG (and hopefully 18 by the time I finish!). I'm amazed with the results and super motivated to continue my journey.

Adam has been a pleasure to work with, he's built up my knowledge and confidence around nutrition and getting the right macro splits to reach my goals. The confidence of having a personal trainer who has really supported me throughout the process has been amazing and he's a great guy as well.

In addition he's given me some workouts to focus on building strength and body confidence whilst losing weight, previously I'd always focused on cardio only in the gym but now I'm building muscle at the same time as losing weight and getting much fitter too.

I am so happy that I was able to get into Adam's program. Before I went through many unsuccessful attempts to lose weight, but each one of them was too fast and didn't teach me anything about my bodies needs, nutrition and the type of exercises that I should be doing.
Everything changed with The Milner Method. My weight loss is slow, but steady - it's much more easier for me this way, as I am getting accustomed to the diet and exercises. Finally I feel like I am able to reach my weight loss goal and not gain everything again. Adam is a very understanding and kind person. During appointments he makes sure that you are comfortable with your plan and is flexible to change anything. The exercise plan he provides is well described and you have videos to every exercise, so you know what you are doing. The meals variety is amazing - I am never bored with the food that I can choose from the plan.
The fact that you use The Milner Method's app works wonderfully for people who cope with ADD, Binge Eating and Highly Functional Depression. I have all of those conditions and never before have I been so motivated to get all of these little achievements in the app.
I highly recommend The Milner Method. It changed a lot for me for good.

This is my Review of the Milner Method for Adam.
I was contacted by Adam whilst I was away on holiday after submitting some details of my plan through Bark. After speaking to a couple of another nutritionist I knew that I wanted to move forward with Adam. His prices were reasonable and his key to detail on our first conversation was brilliant.
I explained to Adam my goals and where I had come from and where I wanted to get to. After some chatting, I decided I wanted to go on the 12-week course.

During the 12 weeks I didn’t just drop body fat, I learned all about what food to eat more of, portion sizes. And my micros. And dropped 10kg in weight. Adam has given me the tools to keep moving forward with my eating better and training. This was a fun 12 weeks with a couple of ups and downs but the lessons I have learned will keep me on the right path.

Our weekly meeting really did motivate me because 12 weeks can seem long but does go very fast. I would advise anybody who is thinking about this type of training and nutrition plan.
I would have no problem recommending Adam, I wish him all the best in future business. And we may be doing some business again soon.

Used the program for about 4 months will be continuing and recommending to anyone who reads this and anyone who asks.

From the jump the initial consultation call was very productive and informative instead of cutting you off mid sentence Adam listened and made great responses.

The program had multiple stages which was great for pushing the body the nutrition was great gone are the days of chicken breast and rice. There was many alternatives given with instructions which were very precise and videos provided if needed.

The training programs were and tailor specific to what your goal is that you are trying to achieve. Paired with constant feedback of every session. As such I was able to overcome an improved body composition reducing body fat percentage significantly and breaking new personal bests in various lifts I hit a plateau in.

With weekly video link reviews of progress provided by Adam, it kept you motivated.

One great thing is that there is large emphasis on getting your macros naturally and not through supplements making it even better for your body both internally and externally.

Other than that I have no problems with the service provided at the price it is. Always remember progress won’t work if you don’t so hold yourself accountable and see the changes.

I’ve been using Adam’s plan for over 2 months now and Ive been hugely impressed with everything I have learned so far. Before the plan I was purely focusing on a high protein intake and missing out on vital nutrients for my diet. I’ve fallen in love with cooking again and I’ve really enjoyed all of the meals on the plan learning about different fats, carbs to add into your diet. Adam has been excellent with coming back to me with any questions quickly and supporting me through the process with weekly feedback reports. We had extremely in-depth chat before we started to get to know me and what would work best for me and my new plan. I’ve been training with Adam for nearly two years now to improve my health. Do not be under any illusion, I am a reluctant customer, I’m no gym bunny, & love my food and wine. I’m turning 50 this year and am Mum to two girls. I’ve also just had two of the toughest years of my life nearly losing my husband and youngest child. Adam has been a constant when life has been rocky, steadily guiding me to a healthier lifestyle, to a drastically improved fitness, muscle tone and nutrition; kick starting my sluggish metabolism, improving my organ health, my stress levels, mood and energy. Three and a half months in with Adam and looking forward to the next phase! Adam has helped me learning and honouring the importance of recovery between sessions, something I wasn't doing previously. He has kept me accountable when I've needed it and is also there as a compassionate friend you need him too. He understands balance. If you sign up with Adam you can expect a workout program designed explicitly for you, tailored to your goals, an in house App where all of your workouts and communication will be (this App is magic, it's way of tracking your previous sets/reps is so simple and incredibly helpful!) expert nutrition guidance and education, weekly checkins and feedback based on your data and a coach that has your back. Like everything else though, the more you put in, the more you'll get out. Adam is data driven and loves to see and crunch the numbers with you, so the more data you've tracked the better he can adjust your plan and program going forward. I got a msg from The milner method through Bark almost a year ago now. So my body transformation ideal and steps to likewise improve my health haven't all been plain sailing. I got abyss a week or so into the 'course' too. But who cares ...... I enjoyed learning about nutrition and suitable exercises to keep myself active and in shape. Adam is very much in his zone he is confident when to press things at the right time which made experience and outcome better than I thought it would be........
*Delicious adaptable recipes that are easy to put together. With my dietary requirements I liked the way 'proteins' were clearly highlighted this would of been especially helpful before I had to research years ago still good to refresh and for new ideas.

*Attitude didn't dissapoint my expectations really was keen in making sure workouts were suitable and changed these when I was ready to progress.
*Realized prior I was protein deficient (explains alot) and consumed too much fat.
*From appearance I'd lost fat and toned up after 4 weeks.

*Concentration and mood improved.
I dont bother running anymore don't feel the need to. Bonus is my legs don't turn into chicken wings when I sit down looking more healthy after the structured exercises set. Overall alot better and balance improved also.* I initially refused to do squats where my knee joints are weak but any pain I suffered is just history now. *Some things are better left to the experts* Pleased I worked this out with Adam and persevered with getting professional brush up and guidance.

I had a slightly challenging journey to becoming a mum so I was a little apprehensive about continuing to train when I found out I was pregnant. However, there’s nobody else I’d trust more than Adam to help me stay in shape during such a special and challenging time. I’ve worked with him for 4-5 years now and I continued to train 3 times a week right up to my due date, which simply wouldn’t have been possible without him.

He was absolutely brilliant throughout my pregnancy. With his detailed weekly check ins and feedback he constantly monitored how my body was adapting as pregnancy progressed and flexed my plan accordingly. He was incredibly receptive at making changes to exercises as and when I needed and his expert knowledge meant he could switch things up easily. I managed to maintain a good level of strength throughout my pregnancy and honestly felt great right till the end.

He also did a fabulous job of supporting my nutrition as well. I was able to balance growing a healthy baby while not putting on lots of additional ‘fat.’ It was really useful to get his advice throughout and he was particularly good at helping me manage an insatiable appetite at times with sensible food swaps to keep both me and baby full.

Adam was a great help when I was trying to get into some sort of ‘beach ready’ trim, having had a demanding job and busy lifestyle it was always hard to fit exercise in to my day. However working with Adam was really easy. I shared what schedule was like and he worked around that, I shared my goals that I wasn’t we to achieve, although I didn’t know much about exercise so Adam was able to understand what I was getting at. Adam was honest in that I needed to change my diet and clearly increase my exercise. He created a plan based on what I had avalible at home (weights, mat etc), and also created a meal plan for the foods I liked. I did really well and enjoyed my work outs, they lasted about 30mins a day on average and I saw great results and hot my goals! Would really reccomend Adam to anyone who is serious about getting fit and looking good More...

I learnt a lot about macros and how to balance these out. I was reluctant to record what I ate at first but realised quickly I was very carb heavy on my meals and I was also skipping meals. So I’ve got used to this and see the benefits. Adam’s weekly updates on my meals was insightful and suggested alternatives and has helped me to eat better for me. He’s approachable and listens to what you’re going through and helps to tailor things around your lifestyle as I travel a lot for work.
