The Lysley coach house was the venue for our daughter's baptism after party. We couldn't have asked for more - Karen is an amazing manager who pulled out all the stops with décor and the extra help/touches. Walking into the Lysley you can immediately tell the history of the building - a proper old pub in every aspect, with decor and architecture that plays into the age of the building rather than hiding it away. The staff are ready with a smile to take your order and show a very pleasant attitude to the patrons. The food is expertly cooked and very reasonably priced for the portion sizes. Decided to give the Lysley a go after not being for a while, what a change. Food was very well cooked, huge Yorkshire puds, amazing cauliflower cheese and puddings to make you feel like you should be rolling yourself out the door. Was also good to meet and chat with Karen (owner), always good to see the boss keeping an eye on the runnings of things, but saying that her staff were fab. Our waiter was very attentive and made it all feel very warm, welcoming and homely, will definitely be heading back. Had Sunday lunch over the bank holiday. The best Pub lunch ever. Pork, stuffing, crackling, roast potatoes, cauliflower cheese, broccoli, carrots, roast parsnips, roast potatoes, Yorkshire pudding and as much gravy as you like. Delicious. Will stop there again

Food was excellent. The best meal we have had there for a few years now. All meals came out piping hot and plenty of it.
