Seven hungry visitors turned up in the bar of the King William Inn at 14.28 on Tuesday 19th June, asking to be feed. The manager informed us the kitchen closed at 14. 30 but she would ask. Much to our delight the kitchen staff agreed to stay on and cook for us. The manager took our (less than straight forward) food orders then very kindly our drinks orders. We waited for our food, when it arrived we were not disappointed it was lovely... tasty, well presented and nice portion sizes. Only one of our group was disappointed as there was a slight hiccup with his meal, which was rectified swiftly (the disappointment came from the fact he was enjoying the meal so much but had to stop eating it. I hasten to add this was a supplier problem, not the King Williams). The staff at the King William Inn were great we all left full and happy to carry on exploring your wonderful, mystical town. Seven hungry visitors from the West Midlands. More...

What a beautiful place to go have food & drinks. Located in the wonderful historical city of 'Bath', this place has some amazing vibes, man!
I mean, the way we were taken care of is beyond amazing.
We had ordered chicken roast, some beer, coke and a whole host of desserts and everything was REALLY good. What I also appreciated about King Williams is the location. Absolutely stunning and the dining place itself is gorgeous! Kudos man!

Great independent pub and restaurant. Good beer selection including craft and local, and decent quality food, much of it locally sourced. Cosy and warm. Choice of sitting downstairs in the bar area, or upstairs in a quieter but casual restaurant setting. More...

Moved onto the street just behind the King William making it my local. Well it’s just what a local should be, plus more, it’s personal, serves good beer, great food and has friendly staff. Because who wants a grumpous pouring you a pint! I would highly recommend this place for food, but book beforehand as it’s always busy! Ps. They do great Sunday roasts! More...

Visited today as I was passing by and fancied a snack. The inside of the pub is cozy and quaint looking. I arrived towards the end of food service but was given a warm welcome nonetheless.
I ordered a pie from the bar menu. Service was very fast and, although the serving size was small, it was perfect for the price and was very filling. The pie itself was delicious and it paired very well with the chutney. I had a chance to speak to the chef and I was told that the pies are homemade and we're in fact made this morning.
I will definitely come again and would absolutely recommend.

I popped into the King William yesterday & received a friendly welcome & speedy service. The lunch we chose was excellent & the wait was only a few minutes, despite the fact that a number of orders were being taken. The food was of a high quality, & the chilli with nachos & melted cheese with salsa & sour cream was very filling. I would very much recommend the King William to other visitors to Glastonbury & look forward to going there again myself. More...
