From working in Michelin starred restaurants, luxury hotels, to private cooking for Royalty and VIPS to being a successful restaurateur. We have over 15 years of experience and knowledge to bring a unique offering to the events catering world.

The team at The Herb Kitchen have been absolutely fantastic and instrumental in making my husband’s 50th a memorable occasion. From initial planning conversations to a very warm welcome at their base in Hove, they were very professsional, helpful and creative. On the day itself they arrived promptly, conjured beautiful canapés using our small domestic kitchen and left everything spotless. Dan came to our house and cooked a wonderful meal for 9 guests. Lots of quality locally sourced meat and produce including an English version of Camembert. We had duck starter and lamb main, both of which were amazing and melted in the mouth! Dan is a lovely guy and this service allowed us to fully enjoy the company of our guests and no washing up to face in the morning!! More...

The Herb Kitchen catered for our vegetarian wedding in December and we could not have been happier! From the first moment we met Will & Dan we immediately discounted the other caterers we had contacted as we knew we had found what we wanted. We felt in safe hands throughout. Will & Dan struck the perfect balance of being both professional & personable, they really cared about making sure we were happy throughout and were a pleasure to deal with. The food they prepared was exceptional and their team on the day did a great job. We had so many compliments from our guests with some going so far as to say it was the best vegetarian food they had ever had. In summary, we never felt that we were ‘just another wedding’ with Will & Dan, they really made a concerted effort and we trusted them to do what they do best, which they did exceptionally well. We could not recommend Will and Dan at the Herb Kitchen more highly. They catered our 130 person Surrey marquee wedding in July and totally smashed it (see photos below - it tasted even better than it looked! ). We are both foodies and were determined to find caterers who shared our enthusiasm and vision for fine dining, without trying to charge us more than the cost of a Michelin star restaurant as with some of the other quotes we received. We could not have found more perfect people to bring our plans and wishes to life than Will and Dan. The food was the best I have ever had at a wedding, which so many of our guests also commented, the front of house team kept everything running on time and beautifully professional and the organisation and planning in the lead up were the best of any of our suppliers. THK may not have the years of daily instagram or Facebook photos to sell themselves like some of the other bigger catering companies, but that does not make them any less capable of doing the job to an incredible standard - it just means they spend more time cooking than on social media! We would unreservedly recommend THK to anyone and will definitely use them again the next time we have something to celebrate in the family! More...

THK is fantastic! From the initial contact right through to wash up (!!!) Dan was great! We planned my Mother in laws 70th, we had a variety of dietary requirements, Dan had no problem with creating a bespoke menu. He was particularly interested in what ingredients were my MOL faves and created a menu around that. Ingredients were locally sourced and bursting with flavours. Choux bombs are to die for! Dan catered for us at a rented house in the New Forest, he had no trouble travelling, what was really important was how comfortable we all felt! He cooked for 16 of us, no stress whatsoever. 100% worth it and I look forward to dining with THK again! More...

We used The Herb Kitchen to cater a hen do in London. Dan was absolutely exceptional in creating a menu perfectly suited to our event - the food was incredible, beautifully presented and plentiful! One thing that stood out particularly was his attention to the people who had particular dietary requirements. Dan went out of his way to make exactly the same effort with these extra dishes so they didn’t feel like an afterthought (no bog standard goats cheese salad!) which in my experience is pretty rare! The Herb Kitchen are AMAZING! We just had them cater our wedding and the food was so well thought out, beautifully presented and delicious. We had a lot of people coming up to say it’s the best wedding food they’d ever had. The communication from the very beginning was attentive and helpful and we worked closely with the HK on an individual menu with a lot of quirks that were personal to us. Will and Dan are both delightful people and great to spend time talking to about food and everything else. We are so happy we found them for our wedding and don’t have a single complaint. A*****.
