“At the age of 23, I was told the life changing news that doctors had not only found 2 tumours but also that I was living with Burkett Lymphoma, one of the most aggressive types of cancer. After a year in hospital undergoing intensive chemotherapy, one year in recovery, and unrecognisable weight loss, I was finally given the all clear; however it left my nervous and digestive system very damaged.

12 years on after following a healthy diet and lifestyle, including daily yoga, weight training and meditation, I was still suffering with IBS. There was also a constant dull pain in my lower back as a result of 12 lumbar punctures during chemotherapy.
