I've recently had some EMDR therapy with Amanda....
and being one to suffer with various behaviours and coping mechanisms in times of stress.
..this has been a great help and I'm looking forward to working on the rest of my issues, no matter how traumatic, it definitely has merit.
I've already noticed that I'm coping better with the things we are addressing in our sessions and looking forward to reprogramming the rest of my traumatic hooks.

I have had various treatments from Vicky Rippen, reflexology, metamorphic technique and body massage. All have been amazing, I now have regular treatments with her. She seems to have the power to do a body Xray during reflexology treatments, telling me what's happening in my body and she is always spot on! I can't recommend her enough. I had a treatment there last week and had to leave this review. I felt so good afterward that I truly believe i have found the way out of my particular health problems.
The clinic itself was so beautiful and relaxing and the receptionist made me feel welcome while i waited for my treatment.
My appointment was on time and i just felt spoiled by the whole experience.
I recommend this place to anyone considering one of their many treatments.

What do you love most about your job?
As an acupuncturist and clinical director of The Haven I love meeting new people and hearing people share honest accounts of how they really are. It's an honour to be confided in with stories of people's lives. I also am fascinated to constantly learn more and more about chinese medicine and how it works. I've practicing acupuncture for 12 years and I'm still learning every day. I love it when people trying to conceive get pregnant and then supporting them up to the birth and then meeting them with their new babies or receiving photos of their babies. I love helping people feel happier in themselves, supporting them through difficult processes like trying to conceive or repeated miscarriages or IVF. I love helping people find time for themselves to relax more, de stress and learn to find ways to take care of themselves. It's very satisfying when people are able to reduce their medication and be free of pain. As a clinical director I love meeting new practitioners who are professional and work to a high standard. I feel proud to work with a fantastic team who all love their work and care deeply about the people they are working with.
What inspired you to start your own business?
After a car accident in which I broke my spine and sustained a spinal cord injury I became aware looking for complementary health treatments that it was very difficult to access clinics with a wheelchair. As an acupuncturist ( I was in the process of completing my training), I decided to set up a clinic that had ground floor wheelchair access from which I could practice acupuncture and make other complementary treatments available to people who would find stairs and steps challenging.

We've had hundreds of therapists apply to work here over the years, and have a fantastic team of really professional therapists working here who are experienced, good at what they do and work in a beautiful, calm relaxing professional and accessible clinic. Our clinic is purely a space for treatments, it's one of very few clinics that doesn't do therapies on the side of another business, therapeutic work is our main and only practice. We'll help you feel well again.
