I am a 37y old Paramedic with two young children, no wonder my hair has been falling out !!! Julia, Dr Arshad and the entire Hair Dr team you deserve this review ! ! You all are an absolute credit to yourselves and the UK hair transplant industry. The whole setup and experience is so professional, from the personable consultation to the unique and well thought out home care package (Love the giant size 7 day after care poster with pictures). They're clinic and team is so well organised and efficient, each person was incredibly focused and skilled despite me trying to tell them jokes through the day, they all worked so hard to achieve the best result. Believe me when I say I spent around 6 months researching deep into most of the reputable UK clinics and honestly nothing came close to the HairDr. Yes there are cheaper and more expensive options in the UK and abroad, however I very much doubt you will get anywhere near the technical skill, level of care, interpersonal approach, meticulous attention to detail and cosmetic finish that this clinic provides. Dr Ashad spent over an hour just getting the hairline markings in, looking at references to numerous angles with reference to bone structures, his incisions for the graft insertions were so clean and small the healing has been so fast and cosmetically immaculate. He clearly takes pride in his work and loves what he does. The donor area has healed in 7 days and despite 2600ish grafts taken it appears as if nothing has been taken. I was incredibly nervous about the procedure as ironically I hate needles, I had also broken my leg the day before. They went out of their way to make me comfortable with fans blowing, chocolates flowing, and a massive cooked lunch. The anaesthetic did sting when it went in and the day was long (10hrs) but because the entire team looked after me like I was one of their family members, we got through it together. The Technicians are brilliant, do not underestimate how skilled the technicians are. They all loved there job and they were so focused checking each follicle extracted under a microscope, they even click counted each implanted follicle so you know your are getting the amount you have paid for. Julia the practice manager you are an absolute angel, such a kind soul, she will never know how grateful I am for her kindness and I will never forget what she has done for me. A very positive experience with the clinic from start to finish. The staff were attentive and prompt in replying to my emails and happy to accommodate me when I asked for a consultation working around my work times. A very comprehensive consultation for my hair loss and looking at getting FUE hair transplant with the surgeon consultant a Dr Arshad who was professional and caring person. I attended the Hair Dr Clinic with a friend who was having a treatment with them. While I was there I asked if I could be seen for a consultation. They made the time for me to see the surgeon and made me feel very welcome even though I wasn´t expecting to have an appointment with them on that day.

I found them to be very nice people, warm, accommodating and helpful. I´ve been down the hair treatment route before so have a basic understanding. This was by far one of the positive experiences I have had. I had a thorough consultation and hair check and have me my options to have a hair transplant and showed me some past results. This lasted maybe 30 minutes or so and gave me time to ask my questions which were all answered clearly. The clinic was clean and obviously a very professionally run clinic and when I am ready will not hesitate to contact them again. AND in the event of a worse case, new clients have no legal standing in the event of a MEDICAL EMERGENCY. Every patient knows the risk associated with the FUE procedures are not guaranteed. I am a genuine patient who has undergone much research to find a reputable service nearer to home in the UK.

‘The Hair Dr – Hair Transplant Clinics Ltd’ namely Julia King 'patient coordinator was the root cause ofmy nightmare experience from the start to No finish with mixed communications.

From my personal experience, upon arrival, there is no heating, no water, signage or front of the house. Quite daunting on the day of Procedure. Instead, you will be met with dusty outdated magazines, and I would urge anybody to visit the the Hair Dr premises before proceeding to make your own observations. Clearly, not reinvesting their profits for the benefit of us patients. The surgery itself is very unsettling so everything surrounding the operation is equally as important. Take this from somebody who has completed 1500 graffs.

I have taken some time to carry out my due diligence and now happy to share my findings.

Ms Sommaya Hanif is the sole director of this company only 2 years into trading from 2017 which you should check with the CQC (Care Quality Commission) under

The lack of experience and customer service was non-existent, in retrospect what am I to expect from a company in its infancy. I now urge anybody to check all policies and indemnities in the event of the worse case, should a procedure not go according to plan. As everybody is independent and not employed by this company to contract such sensitive services.

However, if you are still happy to proceed with their services at least find a comparison to ensure you're offered apples for apples. Qualified assistance with medically trained staff in all areas who are employed by the headline company who seek to charge you a sizeable fee and not shield themselves by a phantom loop to negate ALL RESPONSIBILITIES

We have reason to believe you have used alias to report bad reviews on multiple other sites including this with names that have never been in contact with the clinic for treatment or consultation. With the view to create an online hate campaign against the clinic. this site, although left it up on others. We can only reiterate the facts, we declined to undertake your procedure as we felt it was not in the best interests medically to do so. All the monies you paid to us were refunded in good time and in good will. We are very sorry you feel aggrieved we cancelled your treatment, and you feel the need to have started an online hate campaign against us. I went to visit the Hair Dr in March 2018 and had a consultation with Dr Arshad and Sommiya. They kindly arranged an appointment to fit around my busy work schedule and my hair procedure took place yesterday. I can honestly say the Hair Dr team are truly genuine people with patient needs at the heart of everything they do.

As you will appreciate these procedures take the whole day due to the nature of the work the Hair Dr team do. The whole team are very supportive, helpful and tenacious throughout the whole day. All there efforts are tireless to see the patient receives the best results and experience they imagined.

I would truly recommend Dr Arshad, Sommiya and the whole team to any person wishing to go down this journey. Trust me you will not be disappointed.

Finally, I wanted to write a somewhat different review to what others have written just to emphasis the importance of selecting the correct company to carry out your life changing procedure. Dr Arshad is qualified specialist consultant/surgeon in the Head & Neck field and is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons. I had my fue hair transplant procedure on Saturday post op 4 days now, I felt as all my memories were still fresh I had to write a very positive statement about my whole experience with the Hair Dr team.
On initial contact with Julia King patient co-ordinator and my first meeting at the Hamilton medical centre with practice manager Sommiya Hanif and the surgeon Dr Faisal Arshad I could see how professional and more importantly how passionate they felt about what they are doing so I committed to the transplant.
On the day I was made to feel welcome and totally spoiled by all off the team which included the 2 technicians who carried out there duties over a long day professionally and with a high level of skill. As the day progressed I was talked through every aspect of the fue procedure and more besides as I incessantly asked questions sorry about that guys. The only real discomfort comes from the anisthetic injections to donor and recipient sites soon forgotten as you experience no pain after given.
The whole experience was far better than I expected and I am confident the results long term will be positive and that I have made the right decision to come to the Hair Dr team

Excellent venue and very professional staff. The doctor, the team and the place inspire confidence.

The surgeon and carefully chosen technicians were all passionate about the work. They demonstrated great patience and team work doing the extractions and implants. In addition to the surgeon and technician(s), there were support staff to make sure grafts are properly handled and prepared. There were enough allowance for people taking breaks and rests so that nobody feels tired (I think this is important for to ensure good results since the whole procedure takes a long time and needs a lot of concentration). There were admin staff to ensure patient and the surgical team are well fed and watered. Post-operative instructions were very clear. I feel I’ve had the best!
