Having our driveway done was a big decision for us , we knew it would be costly to get a quality job that would not only looks special but would built to last. Having approached EDC for a quote Daren visited us and immediately it was clear he knew his trade well, not just practically also in terms of the quality of materials and design we were looking for . He turned around the quote quickly and was responsive to our request to adapt the design and scope of the work to meet our budget. EDC were able to start within 3 weeks, turned up on time with a team led by Gary set to work. They are fantastic craftsmen who worked really hard and were pleasure to deal with , receptive to questions and updating us on progress. We had two jobs done back to back by Daren and his team in the early spring. We had a number of quotes and one of our main concerns was location of both properties. One was in a pedestrianised area and the other at our guest house on the main road out of the city on zig-zag lines. The second concern was drainage as the previous slabbing flooded badly.I was impressed at the level of preparation for both jobs the final jobs are both doing exactly what was promised. Both jobs have different slab - types and both were right for the jobs in question. Now we have had some really heavy rain I am pleased that drainage is no longer an issue and the new layouts both look great.For weeks after the jobs were finished it was not unusual to see passers- by hanging over the fence looking at the gardens.Daren promised he would do the job right and he did. It wasn't the cheapest quote but nor was it the dearest but it was refreshing to be advised about the job rather than just having someone doing what we thought was right.I would happily recommend Daren and his team.Ian Hamilton at Kew House More...

Just had our garden transformed into a 2 car driveway, absolutely fantastic job by Daren and his team. Raymond and the boys kept us informed daily about what was being completed and to what timescales. It was a big job from the start and nothing was too much trouble for them. Absolutely over the moon with the finish and would not hesitate in highly recommending the Edinburgh Driveway Company. We had a significant amount of work installing new driveways by Daren and his team back in January. They quality of work was excellent, communication throughout was very clear and they completed the work efficiently producing a fantastic looking driveways & path with new walling. We have had some bad experiences with other contractors working in our garden but no issues at all with Edinburgh Driveway. Daren’s team recently carried out reasonably extensive work to re-lay and extend our driveway. Half of our front garden was converted to driveway and we are delighted with the work carried out and the approach taken. We recently had major work carried out on our driveway and front garden by Edinburgh Driveways.
The professionalism of Daren and his team who carried out the job was first class and we are totally delighted with the results.
