The Dog Walker was created through the love we have for our cocker spaniel Teddy and our two house rabbits Rocky & Ruby. We absolutely love taking Teddy for his walks, and after deciding to have a change of direction career wise, we decided to set up our own dog walking business.

Roger walks our three dogs twice a week and the odd Saturday. Roger is great with our dogs as we have a rescue that is extremely scared a Beagle that’s very cocky and a Hungarian Vizsla that is temperamental. This doesn’t fase Roger and he just gets on with it and his kind/ gentle way makes dogs trust him. He has a key to our house and is totally reliable and trustworthy (unless you leave Chocolate and Prosecco on show ) More...

We cannot recommend Roger, The Dog Walker highly enough. Roger is now doing regular walks with our two cockers, Lizzie and Harvey every week and they're loving their walks and Roger! We are really happy in the knowledge that he genuinely cares about the dogs and trust him completely. Roger and becki are amazing at what they do. Buster and Bella love going on the walks and meeting all the other doggies � they are fantastic with both of them. They went out of there way to walk buster ( he can be unsure of other dogs) and made sure he was okay. I even get updates on how they have been and videos so I can see how much fun they have had. Our young Rottie Rosie loves her weekly walks with "Uncle Roger" and she loves to give him a big hug every time she sees him!
Roger is a very reliable and helpful person and we know Rosie is well looked after on her walks with him.

I cannot stress how brilliant these two (Roger and Becky) are with our cocker spaniel Winston. They have been a lifesaver this week after I realised last minute that I had no one to walk him for the week. I messaged them telling them our situation and they arranged to come round and meet him straight away...he was on his first walk with them the following day and loved it! The dogs have proper exercise and are so genuinely cared about and loved. They go the extra mile with them and are so observant and genuinely care about the wellbeing of your animal. For example, Winston pulled a muscle in his leg so couldn't go on his walk Friday, they have text us each day asking how he is recovering and sending their well wishes! We are so happy with how helpful they have been this week and are so glad that Winston is being looked after while we are out! What do you love most about your job?
What is there NOT to like? Our days are spent walking, playing and cuddling with all these beautiful, loving dogs and pets. They are always pleased to see us and they are just always so happy! We couldn't wish for a better way to spend our days - and at the same time you have the peace of mind that your pets are getting the company and the exercise they need and love.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I have had dogs most of my life, but Teddy is a life changer. His character, his love, his sense of fun - it is such a joy to be with him. So when we decided it was time for a change of direction in our careers, we both knew straight away what we wanted to do!
Why should our clients choose you?
We love what we do, and we think our excitement and love of the job rubs off on all of the pets we meet. You are not committed to a contract - you can use us as a one-off or become one of our regular customers - the choice is yours! We are fully insured and we promise we will take care of your pets just as you would.
