We booked our Wedding Breakfast and Reception at The Devon Hotel back in September 2018 for August 2019. In the months running up to the big day, Ben, the duty manager, looked after us and coordinated the day. When we emailed, sometimes asking what we thought were daft questions, Ben replied and was extremely helpful and kept us up to date throughout the preparations. On the big day itself Ben and the rest of the staff made sure that everything ran smoothly from first thing in the morning getting the Regency Suite set up to the end of the night. The three course wedding breakfast and the evening buffet was great quality, tasting incredible and went down very well with all of our guests. A majority of our guests had travelled from various parts of the country and everyone who stayed at the Hotel had a brilliant experience. We had a party of 15 booked for a birthday meal and we all had a Carvery, the food was amazing! All of us throughly enjoyed our meals, it was all very fresh, hot and tasty and the meat just melted in your mouth, this was my first visit and I’d highly recommend it, we cannot wait for a return visit.

My husband and daughter organised a semi-surprise (!!) 70th birthday afternoon tea party for me in the Regency Suite yesterday. A truly lovely time was had by all. From the moment we contacted the Devon Hotel enquiring about our evening reception for our wedding, we knew this was the place to hold it. Our wedding coordinator was Ross and he really couldn’t do enough for us, he listened to all our requirements and certainly delivered on the day!
