I am a counsellor who has been qualified for 8 years. During my time as a student I had a placement working for a charity in the Romney Marsh area and have continued working for this charity for the past eight years. I have a lot of experience in working with issues such as stress, anger, loss, anxiety, relational issues, those who wish to explore what is to be come their story or those who need someone to listen to their experiences without judgement in a safe and secure setting and much more.

What do you love most about your job?
What I most love about my job is the 'light bulb' moments that I share with my clients. When a person struggles on the counseling journey and suddenly something just falls in to place (light-bulb moments) and things begin to make a little more sense. Its amazing to witness such an infinite moment and such a privilege to have been part of something that makes a difference!
What inspired you to start your own business?
Because I care about what I do - never get bored of my work!
Why should our clients choose you?
My passion is the relational aspects of ourselves . The vehicle for change is the counseling relationship as it incorporates the fundamental aspects of what we need to navigate our lives. My belief is if the counseling relationship can be built within the counseling room, we can work through issues, develop insight into our ways of being. If this can be achieved then the skills learnt within The Counselling Room , within the counseling relationship then this can be transferred outside of The Counselling Room. A period of time is needed 'holding period' whilst the client builds confidence in his/her ability in their daily lives
