I've discovered a hidden gem, took the kids tannaghmore and stopped by this place for tea. Sat in the garden with the kids who had a ball in the play park while we had a short wait for food. The seating area was heated and comfortable. Service was knowledgeable and friendly, nothing was any trouble. Great choice on menu. My wife and I called in today for a bite to eat. We where greeted by a young girl who seated us right away and explained the specials that was on. Food was delicious and quick service. Have eaten here about 4 times in the last month, from a light lunch (home made Tomato Soup), to a roast beef Sunday dinner with all the trimmings. Absolutely gorgeous homemade grub in a beautifully warm rustic pub environment. Kids eat free on Sundays too so a bonus for families. Always really busy and food is served quickly. Recommend the Asian Salad with Bang Bang chicken, and the soup if you need a healthier choice. I think this is our new regular... Thank you. More...

Popped in for Christmas lunch today with the wife and can't say enough good things. A fantastic local business using local produce to cater for locals and visitors alike. I think the food should be allowed more than 5 stars for both the quality and presentation. Staff were pleasant and efficient and engaged in a bit of banter. Brilliant to not just have robots serve you. A bit of slagging reminds you that you're in a proper country establishment, that is pleasant, clean and inviting. From the moment you arrive, until you walk back out the door, it's like a home from home. Even the personal touch from Trevor and Roisin who're not afraid to get their hands dirty, serving and looking after their friends and clients. Giving someone that time of day is such a simple thing, but too many hosts forget it. if you're looking for somewhere to get fab food and great service to treat yourself or impress someone, you've found it!

Went to Corner House tonight for an early tea - it was brilliant. My other half had the Corner House burger - it was big and tasty. I had the chicken skewers with satay sauce, Asian slaw, naan and chips - when Alan saw it he wanted to swop. Lovely tender chicken, yummy home made chips, delicious Asian salad and the best satay sauce ever tasted with a lovely spicy heat . We shared a lemon cheesecake which was freshly made with gingernut base. As well as the excellent food we received a friendly service from the 2 bar staff - unfortunately I didn't ask their names. Highly recommended and can't wait to go back. We left a pair of glasses and as we were driving off, the female bar staff came running out with them - how good was that! Thank you. More...

Went there tonight after ringing earlier today to confirm who the entertainment was and arranging taxis so disappointing that once again at 10. 30pm on a Saturday night still no sign of a group appearing seems that the same reason"excuse" is being used after almost 3 years "they haven't turned up and we can't contact them." Seems like the Guinness ad did I save the horse or the horse save me.... surely 4 or 5 groups doing this says a loud message being ignored ..a brilliant venue so much potential for a future investor More...
