What an amazing weekend supported by Ben and his amazing staff.As a formal Royal Air Force Chef of 10 years this is the first time I have handed the responsibility to caterers for my annual Christmas family get together. Being extremely picky I ask Ben to put together a finger Buffet and Full Dinner sit down.I gave a small brief but let Ben to go with the flow and put full trust in him.Well we wasn’t disappointed nothing was standard and the flavors were better than any of the top restaurants in London that I have experienced.I asked for it to feel casual and that I wanted the staff to blend in which they did even wearing at my request Christmas jumpers.I rarely recommend caterers as everyone has different opinions but I can say you can put your trust in Ben and his team it was truly exceptional. Excellent Private Dining Experience! Booked Ben and Ellie, for an at home dining experience for my mum’s seventieth birthday. Able to cater for multiple tricky food allergies, whilst still serving some stunning food. Ellie and her daughter who came to the home, were so friendly and professional. Everyone had a lovely relaxed evening. Would highly recommend! That food was absolutely banging! Really really nice, I can’t believe there’s a nicer or better ‘takeaway’ in the uk! So glad we got a tip off to try this, I recommend you do the same, gutted we don’t live over here so can’t eat here all the time!

Fabulous freshly prepared food (which is why booking is essential). Excellent menu choices - I had the veggie burger with halloumi - honestly the most delicious burger I have ever eaten. A great find. We ordered fishcake starters as in the picture and two different main meals which were beautifully cooked and so easy to heat up in the oven. We enjoyed the meal so much we ordered again later in our week away. It was wonderful to find such good quality food which Ben delivered to our apartment in Milford Haven. I came across Ben's website while searching for a caterer for our private wedding reception. I asked for a quick chat & Ben called my mobile to discuss the food options for the wedding. Ben sent us a menu and gave us alternative options for fussy eaters and for a coeliac guest. We pre-ordered a 3-course meal for 11 guests for 5:30PM and Ben's wife Ellie delivered it to Narbeth. We thoroughly enjoyed the food, everyone chose something different but we all sat down and had dinner together at the table. I selected the fishcakes, risotto and cheesecake and they were all delicious! The heating instructions were easy to follow and Ellie was so helpful. Been staying in wonderful Pembrokeshire for the week and we ordered fro Ben and Ellie twice during our stay. Food and service from these guys is outstanding and don't let takeaway put you off as Ben and Ellies food put to shame many of the stand alone restaurants and food places. Having struggled to get reservations at nearby restaurants during our stay in Pembrokeshire, we looked to get a take out from The Box by Ben Gobbi instead. Because our AirBnB didn't have an oven, Ben was very accommodating and kind enough to serve us everything as hot as possible so we could get it home without it getting cold. Everything was delicious, it was like eating restaurant-quality food at home, with really generous portions too. We were so impressed, that we went back to collect dinner the next day too. We ordered some food from The Box while staying at Bluestone. It's a 20 min drive away if you're desperate and they make a good effort to accomodate last minute orders.
