Whitney was a superstar throughout the entire process of selecting and develivering our wedding cake.

The service is friendly and personal and the planning meeting comes with a huge bonus of delicious tasting cupcakes!

Nothing was too much trouble.

A preview, approval photograph sent the day before the wedding is a fabulous service. I raised a query regarding the flowers used on ours at this point and Whitney made tiny alteratio 22nd to our cake to make it even more beautiful than it already was.

This is the company I picked to make my wedding cake and I'm so pleased I picked them .... Whitney was fantastic from making the cake to delivering the cake I sent her a picture of the cake I wanted and the cake I got was sooo much better than the picture it was amazing . .. The cake not only looked fab it tasted fab too ... Highly recommend this company .

Would not hesitate to recommend this lovely lady... Whitney was such a help throughout, and made us the most fabulous cup cakes for our wedding. Great selection of flavours and she also supplied us with a load of gluten free options too. Obliterated by our guests in no time... Delicious!!! More...

Blackrod cake company were fantastic from start to finish, could not of asked for anything more. Despite the heat of 30 degrees and a traffic jam of 5 hours on the day, the cake still arrived in perfect condition. The cake itself was fantastic and went down very well. I'm so happy that I chose Blackrod cake company to make the cake and would not go to anyone else for a cake now. Best service and lovely people as well. Recommended by my chief bridesmaid, and I'll certainly be recommending again! Excellent customer service. We really appreciated being able to try samples, as this took our flavour in a completely different direction! We opted for a three tier semi-naked cake at our wedding, with blackforest and carrot layers (as we didn't want much icing, we chose these as the best tasting sponges). We ordered the Lego wedding cake and what can I say, Fantastic service, Bakery and customer service including delivery and set up.

We were asked to choose six Flavours to taste, which were all lovely.

The cake we chosen Lemon Drizzle. Rocky Road and Victoria, and the taste was out of this world. Will be ordering from them again. I feel giving a 5 rating is unfair, wish I could give higher.

This is the first of many thanks yous I have to do today....and it seems fitting to start here as I sit devouring what's left of our wedding cake! Oh my goodness, what a cake, what a company! We had a movie themed wedding and The Blackrod Cake Company tailored everything to our theme and colour scheme - nothing was too much trouble. The people at the company are so so lovely and have answered all my queries so quickly. I am gutted I didn't get to meet them as they seem like amazing people. And what talent! Our cake looked superb - it gave me excited and happy feelings as I walked in and saw it all set up so beautifully. And it tastes so good!
