Great set at a recent birthday party in Dunnington Village Hall. A very tight jazz & funk trio, all impressive musicians playing with skill & a real feeling for the tunes chosen. We booked Alleybeat for our July garden party. We’d been impressed by them at a club gig and thought they would lend the party the right vibe.
They absolutely made the party! Great music, everyone was up dancing and singing along. Our friends are still talking about them.
The band were very easy to work with, great communication, reliable and conscientious over getting everything just right.
I really recommend Alleybeat. If we have another big party I’ll be asking them back!

like no other band we have had, these guys came to see us to make sure the venue could be the best it could be for the band, impressive start.
One the night, the music and singing was faultless, they have a great range of songs to sing and managed to get people up dancing which is very hard to do in my place.
Booked them in again, would highly recommend.

Lots of vibe and energy throughout the evening of our daughters wedding , kept all our guests on the dance floor and had a fantastic evening!

The Alleybeat were amazing when they played at our wedding this weekend!! Their set list was fabulous and they catered for everyone. We had guests dancing right from the very first song to the very last song, it was truly fantastic. The communication from the band before hand was also fabulous, I felt immediate confidence in my decision to book and I'm so glad we did!! We were able to request a handful of songs for the set list and on the night they did a shout out to ensure we didn't miss one of our songs which was just totally wonderful of them! We booked The Alleybeat for the reception of our rustic wedding in July after seeing one of their gigs the year before. This is a collective of incredibly talented musicians with tonnes of personality; we love the funky twists they brought to songs we know and love. We and our guests had such a fun evening with huge thanks to the Alleybeat and many of our guests sung their praises. They went above and beyond for us throughout the planning stages and on the day itself. They had a major logistical hiccup thrown at them that was totally outside their control but they handled it like pros, quickly adapted and if the stress did get to them we had no idea - it looked like they were having as much fun as we were. What do you love most about your job?
We love making music and seeing people enjoy it in a variety of social settings, including weddings, corporate events, special occasions and even in client's homes! We particularly enjoy creating our own jazz arrangements of popular songs.
What inspired you to start your own business?
We have been playing in bands for many years (a combined live music experience of over 50 years!), but we never get tired of playing and performing - we are great friends as well as excellent musicians. Our enjoyment of performing music together helps us to create a warm and happy vibe which is very engaging for our audiences.

We give reliable, efficient, cost effective, professional service from first contact until your event is successfully completed.
We play familiar, popular songs with our own arrangements to give a fresh, upbeat and engaging twist to our playlist. We are very happy to adapt our playlist by adding some songs of your choice, including a "first dance" if you wish.

We have a very extensive playlist and are always adding new songs from current playlists. We cover many current day artists such as Ed Sheeran, with jazz interpretations of their classic tunes, We also play the full range of jazz standards with fresh interpretations and superb musicianship,
We want to play the music you want to hear! We will work with our clients at every stage of an event, from the details of initial event and spend planning, musical playlist selection (both live and background music), timely, efficient set up, sound check and breakdown on the day, right through to the perfect delivery of an unforgettable musical experience and effective follow up after an event. We are highly responsive to our clients requests, flexible and very adaptable to the clients needs.
We can tailor our performances, music, light and entertainment systems to your planned event size and spend, from small exclusive private groups to larger corporate events and even open, public music festivals.
Public Address systems
We have a variety of industry standard public address systems, all fully PAT tested, available to support events ranging from small exclusive private parties, through to larger corporate functions of several hundred guests. We can supply wired or radio microphones to support speeches, raffles, auctions or even in-crowd interviews!
Background music
We have access to huge playlists of songs and can develop background music playlists for your event to your specification. We have the kit necessary to amplify and play whatever recorded music you want to enhance the atmosphere of your event.
Stage Lighting Systems
We have a variety of stage lighting configurations available, ranging from intimate small exclusive party settings, through to larger productions with light gantries, haze machines, spotlights, laser lights and special lighting effects.
Audio technicial support for live music production and live music recording
We have access to superb audio technicians and sound engineers to ensure your event music is delivered live to your guests at the highest standards, and even recorded live for your VIP guests.
