Had lessons there for a couple of months . Got messed around with dates and times changing . Decided not to carry on with lessons but had money taken out of my account without permission and had to argue to get money back ! Wouldn’t recommend!

The whole team are friendly, professional and, in my experience with them, incredibly adept at teaching both adults and children alike. The teachers have a multitude of techniques to support you through the learning process which they engage without hesitation when they see you are struggling to process the piece being worked on. TMMA recently put on a talent show whereby the students had an opportunity to perform live at a venue in front of a fair sized audience. My daughter has just started her singing lessons with Beth at TMM Academy, and she is thrilled with the progress she has made in just under one month. Very professional tutoring, my daughter said she'd had more guidance and tips at her firtst 30 min with Beth than she had in months at the other place she was going to. Very flexible too if you need to move your lesson. Great communications with Steven, paitenty answering all your questions and finding the best option for your child. Half price first month is a great bonus, and there are discounts if you do more than 30 min sessions. TMM also kindly offers their facilities for practicing for free. What an excellent institute. My son started learning just this year in Jan 2021 at age of 8 and has no family member who plays guitar but Mr. Miles Bagshaw taught him so many amazing rock songs and metal so fast that he has gained tremendous confidence and also learnt scales and chords and looks forward to his new teacher Steve who is very sweet and patient. I am currently a beginner and he explains things simply to me.
My singing teacher is also helpful and explains things well. My singing teacher fits a lot of information in an hour. I also enjoy these lessons.

Marcus (and Steve) taught and coached my son through all the drum grading levels including Grade 8 from scratch over a period of five years, which has enabled him to play in a local band but also now move to University studying a degree in Music Performance.
The Academy gave him the knowledge and tools to develop (with lots of practice!) his style. There were also opportunities to play on stage during the Showcase events to put the theory into practice, which I know he thouroughly enjoyed.
I would recommend their teaching styles whether you are looking to learn as a hobby or for something more serious.

Teach Me Music is fantastic. My 9 year old lad started with guitar and then I (his mum) was inspired to start drumming. Not to be left out, my other lad (13) then took up drums too ! Jak tailors our drum lessons brilliantly - simple stuff for me but more challenging stuff for the younger brains! No pressure to do exams if you don’t want. Just enjoyable. I’ve just completed my 8 drum beginner lessons. I’ve had an absolutely fabulous time and learnt so much. All carried out via Zoom, firstly Marcus but latterly Jak Batchelor have been simply awesome. As a drummer I couldn't recommend the practice facilities enough. Everything you need for a good instrumental practice, and top quality equipment at that. I've used many rehearsal spaces over the years in a bid to keep my neighbours happy, and this is by far the best I've used. My community group ‘Reach’, for individuals with learning difficulties and disabilities, enjoy regular music sessions with one of their music teachers Jarrad.
