My name is Tom Drywa I am a personal trainer at The Gym Group High Wycombe.

I am a former professional athlete, with my background being heavily grounded in sports and conditioning training. I have a degree in Sports and Exercise Science, as well as being a Level 3 certified Personal Trainer.

Having recently signed up with TD Fitness Pro I can honestly say Tom is a great trainer. He pushes you in every session and combines that with fantastic nutrition advice! He is knowledgeable on exercise technique tweaking movements so you feel the right muscles work. Definitely recommend. More...

Extremely knowledgeable and motivational. I was pushed hard but not too hard and left feeling motivated to continue. You dont see results right away (which is natural), but I did notice things like my sleep schedule, minor body aches, and overall mental fatigue improved. Highly recommend!!!!!! I have been with tom at TD fitness pro 6 months now. I could not recommend anyone better. Tom is a great listener and really does customize your training to you. He has a great understanding of training and is a great person to approach for personal trainer session. Would really recommend working with Tom on any fitness related goals you may have. I am no stranger to the gym but I have been attending PTs for the last coupleof months, and found that my form has improved and I have progressed in the weights I am using. This is all thanks to Tom for highlighting my areas of weakness, providing me with ways to improve these weaknesses and motivating me to go heavier where he sees potential. I can always earn more money, but I can never get more time. If you're looking for someone to make the most of your training in a structured and organised way Tom should be your PT. Yeah you could probably teach yourself nutrition on a weekend course, and you could probably teach yourself form and technique from YouTube, but if you don't want your time wasted and you want to reach your goals quickly and effectively do some sessions with Tom and you'll realise very quickly the incredibly high standards he holds himself to. Would recommend Tom to anyone in an instant! Following many injuries and muscular issues over the years I have had many hours of physio from a very reputable & highly recommended physician/company. However, because of Tom’s extensive knowledge, he has actually helped to improve these issues considerably more & in much less time! From experience, he clearly shows great consideration for people in general, as he helped me resolve an issue that physio couldn’t, before I had even considered using a PT! He cares about the results of his clients, where as other PT’s can often care more for the money. He will contact me even if I have not seen him for many weeks, to ask how I am doing re food plan etc.Tom will push you as hard as you can go but at the same time not ‘bully’ you into it. He encourages you to do your best and has a great sense of humour which makes sessions more fun but, at the same time serious when needed.I would have never used a PT in the past but, Tom impressed me so much with his knowledge & work ethics that I thought I would give it a try! I now look forward to my PT sessions as I am so pleased as to how much harder I work and using the correct technique!Tom’s sessions are reasonably priced & personally, I think it is worth every penny! He gives you the motivation to continue to do your best with food & exercise between sessions, which is exactly what I needed and I’m sure is what a lot of people out there are in need of too!Because of Tom, I now have better technique to get the most out of my workouts, more confidence, more motivation, more toned, have dropped a dress size and my posture is improving! Excellent and professional personal training service in that Tom takes the time to explain why each exercise is done and why, whilst also making sure form is at its best. Tom’s results driven, easy going but strong work ethic makes training fun and exciting and you can see improvements aesthetically and mentally very quickly.
