DJ Taz (real name Jon Stevens), has been playing dance music since 1999 but has been into nearly every dance scene since the early 1980`s. He`s played with most of the top dance DJ`s or played at the same events.
He`s a down to earth human being and has never forgotten his friends and his supporters and doesn't mind having people round to party at his house. Taz knows it`s the people that put the DJ`s on the stage and Taz has never forgotten that and his door is always open for new up and coming DJ`s. Taz has always played for the people and from the heart and has never played just for the money. He is a well-respected member of the hard dance music scene.
As well as bangin out tunes where ever he is booked he also makes his own tunes which you can hear on his Podomatic or Soundcloud or Mixcloud. Taz also has his own radio station called Tazstyle radio which is through Ustream where he plays all kinds of genres of music but always played with that Taz twist we all know and love.
Taz took over the BOURNEMOUTH BEACH PARTYS in 2002, organizing and playing at them till 2006. Also during this time Taz arranged and co-organized a few charity events including one to raise money for the Sri Lankan Tsunami victims, even appearing in the local newspapers because of this event. He also played for a few FREE PARTY CREWS, THE TRIBE OF LOCUST`S, HOME GROWN SOUNDS and TECHNO NOTICE whilst also doing his own New Forest parties.
