Shelley was just amazing! She completely ‘got’ me and what I wanted to achieve! She went to huge lengths to give me ideas, samples and suggestions as to how I can improve my home, she is so worth consulting and has really inspired me to give my home a new look! Would thoroughly recommend!

I recently completed a two story extension to the rear of my home, enlarging my kitchen and living space on ground floor and adding two ensuite bedrooms and expanding a master suite on first floor. I engaged Shelley to help with colour, furniture and tile selection. We are extremely pleased with the way the project turned out with her guidance and help. She also was able to utilize her arrangements with local suppliers to get me an excellent price on all the tiles I required, saving me quite a bit.

Our large lounge and dining room were in great need of a makeover. I was struggling to visualize paint colours and co-ordinating blinds and curtains. I saw an advert in the local Rochford magazine for Taylormade Interiors and thought I would give them a call. I was so pleased that I did. I spoke to Shelley and briefly told her about the work required. Shelley came to our home, ready prepared with colour charts to get an idea of what I was looking for. Soon afterwards, I received in the post from Shelley a large envelope with lots of curtain and blind samples and matching paint suggestions. I was thrilled with them as there were lots of brilliant ideas that I wouldn't have thought of and it saved me so much time, I didn't have to trawl through endless web sites. A few years ago my mother-in-law broke her hip and could no longer live alone. She moved in with us but all of our bedrooms are upstairs and she could not climb stairs. So I contacted Shelley at Taylormade Interiors to help me find a solution. She was terrific, because there was some urgency in our request she was very responsive. She came up with a plan to convert a large spare living room on the ground floor to a bedroom with an ensuite handicapped bathroom. She knew a contractor, plumber, electrician who prioritized our job while she made handicap furniture recommendations (bed, toilet, wheelchair accessible shower, etc). The room came out great and my mother-in-law loves it.

Because of this great experience I contracted Shelley for another job late last year to reconfigure a several bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs into an ensuite with a sitting area, bath and shower with enough room for a super king bed. That was a major project requiring many changes to load bearing walls, heating, plumbing, flooring, new walls, lighting, bathroom and of course furniture. The project recently completed and my wife and are truly delighted as to how it came out. We now have a large private sitting room that incorporates an existing fireplace, a large bedroom area and an ensuite bathroom with a separate shower and a bath as well as sink, toilet, etc. She has posted pictures on her website.

We are extremely pleased with both projects that Taylormade Interiors did for us. Shelley provided creative ideas, guidance and helped us all the way through the project which was great because we didn’t know exactly what we wanted when we started. All work was done with great quality and they did their best to minimize disruption to the rest of the house during construction. If I ever have another project I would certainly engage Shelley.
