What a fantastic place! The receptionist was absolutely fab! Managed to squeeze me in very last min when other clinics couldn’t! Pre warned me what would happen and what I needed to wear. The receptionist was very welcoming and made me feel very at home. The service was 5* at this point and only got better. When Gareth called me through I was greeted with a smile and a warm personality. Gareth’s experience was obvious and he easily came to the route of the problem and a treatment plan. I visited here for the first time to see Kim for a massage yesterday , best massage I have ever had . The clinic is beautiful ,light, airy and very clean. Highly recommend and I have done to many friends and family over the years I have been coming to Alex and his fantastic team. I suffered with a back problem a number of years ago during my nursing career. Alex was extremely helpful at putting me at ease during my first appointment and i left in less pain and finally some movement in my neck and back. I continue to see Alex for general back health maintenance a few times a year, alongside of having regular massage too and have found I have the best results and benefits of both these treatments have keep me pain free and flexible even whist pregnant carrying my 2 son's. I have seen Alex over the years for very severe neck pain and headaches. Within 20 minutes of completing my treatment (acupuncture, massage and manipulation) I would feel considerably better and over the next 24 hours improvements would continue. The only alternative would be bed rest and Tramadol to make life bearable which in m mind just masked my symptoms. Thanks to the team at Taunton Chiropractors! More...

Started having treatment for my jaw (TMJ) with Richard recently. After having had extensive dental work as a kid and lock jaw as a young adult, my jaw visually looked wonky, couldn't open wide, and ached when eating chewy food. I went to see Suresh (through the recommendation of a friend,) about my back. From calling to book the appointment to arriving at the centre I was treated with absolute professionalism and kindness.
The centre has a lovely calm atmosphere and is beautifully designed and set up.
Suresh is very professional and has helped not only ease my back, but educate me on how to keep it in shape and looked after.
I would thoroughly recommend both the centre and Suresh!

After aggravating an old shoulder injury a friend recommended I saw Alex Bowling. After a few weeks treatment and doing simple exercises he suggested the injury started to feel a lot better. Absolutely love the service here, both me and my husband have been visiting for some time and everytime we feel welcomed and comfortable within seconds of entering the clinic. The information we get on how to manage our clicks, cracks and pains is thorough. Alex gave me some stretches to do on Monday, I couldn't hold them for 20 seconds then, but after seeing him and having massage and acupuncture in my knees and calves (ouch) I'm now doing these for 1 minute, 3 times a day with a little discomfort... brilliant!! What do you love most about your job?
It's great to have the skills, experience and knowledge to be able to help people become pain-free and to enjoy their life. We take the time to explain everyone's individual diagnosis - the underlying cause of each person's pain is very unique. As part of the process, we educate clients about their bodies and how to look after themselves by means of posture, stretches and simple exercises. This is very empowering for clients and to have people improve and very rewarding.
What inspired you to start your own business?
We wanted to create a clinic with a homely and welcoming atmosphere, whilst still maintaining the high levels of professionalism and cleanliness associated with a private healthcare practice. We also wanted to get together a fantastic small team that works together putting each client's journey towards recovery first. Running our own business means we can offer the kind of service we'd expect ourselves with no gimmicks or complicated schemes - as one client put it: "You're the Ronseal of Chiropractors - you do exactly what you say you'll do with no nonsense".

Most of our clients come as they have been recommended by a friend or family member who we have already helped. We are a small but busy family run business that has become well known and trusted in the community.
