How long have you been in business?
Extra-help has been in business for over 10 years and recently has launched in Kettering and East Northamptonshire.
Do you bring your own equipment and supplies?
Yes. Extra-help staff are willing to bring their own equipment but we also use what the client provides inorder to ensure the service is done properly and upto a standard that will satisfy the our client.
What do you love most about your job?
I personally love the interaction with different people from different walks of life. The satisfacation I get after a good cleaning or ironing job is unmatched. Makes me proud of my job.
What inspired you to start your own business?
During this pandemic I have seen the need for Extra-Help. Our senior citizens and other valnerable people in our society made me look into the opportunity to give them a little extra support. Though Extra-help is not only limited to this demographic.

Extra-help staff deliver the work and an exceptional homehelping service. Our homehelpers are flexible there by accomodating the changes in life and the work life balance.Extra-help staff possess a combination of skills and experience and are dbs cleared and ready to work.

No. As this is a home-helping business our service is provided in person on site upon client visits.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
We wear masks throughout our visits, social distance in line with government guidelines, regularly sanitise and wash our hands and don’t bring external equipment into clients homes to prevent cross contamination.
