I recently had some head shots done with Tara. The whole experience was a pleasure from start to finish. Tara is highly professional, and makes you feel immediately relaxed. Her studio is great, and also is unusual in that it has some wonderful outdoor areas with beautiful back drops for photograpy. Nisha of Blush and Curls did my make up and I was delighted with it. It looked really professional and understated at the same time. I felt very pampered and relaxed throughout. What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
You need great planning, an understanding of what you are trying to achieve before you even get the camera out of the bag and then time to get the image right in camera before you press the button.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
What are the images for - if for web, how will they fit in the design and what shape do they need to be. What sort of images do you like, the lighting used affects the look and feel of the images so we need to get that right to portray your business how you want.
What do you love most about your job?
I love creating images that my clients enjoy sharing with others and are proud to display whether that is on the wall at home or showcasing their products and services to existing and potential customers.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I started my own business so that I could be flexible and enjoy the work I undertake.
Why should our clients choose you?
I am creative, conscientious and passionate about listening to my clients and creating images that they love. I am experienced at working to briefs but am also able to make quick decisions and think on my feet.
