We first met Tania at Craig Y-Nos wedding fayre and felt instantly comfortable and at ease with her. She is such a happy, bubbly character and is dedicated to making you feel relaxed. Tania was absolutely amazing doing our daughter’s newborn photos. My husband, mum, and I were as well looked after as our baby and Tania was sooo patient getting her settled and taking the time to get the right poses etc. We felt very involved the entire time and Tania took our history of loosing two babies before our daughter to the heart of the photo shoot. What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
Helping people to relax and be themselves so that they don't come across as stiff or awkward in a photograph. I love natural shots where a client isn't necessarily looking straight at the camera.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
What do they hope to achieve from their session with me. Do they already have any specific requests or are they willing to let me work my magic!
What do you love most about your job?
People! I really enjoy meeting new people and especially love working with little ones. it's been a real joy to develop my newborn photography and have spent a small fortune on newborn props so that each photoshoot will look different. As we live in a very digital world where most photographs taken are on mobile phones, many never get printed and can eventually be lost when people forget to back p their photos or change their phone/laptop and images are gone forever. Your photographs soon become precious memories and are therefore priceless, particulalrly with babies and little ones as they change so very quickly.
What inspired you to start your own business?
When I had my own two beautiful girls, they were changing so quickly, I used my then husband's SLR to capture what I could but without much knowlwdge of the camera and its settings. I studied photography in the late '90's and did my first wedding around 2000 which slowly increased as time went on. Of course, I have photographed many other types of occasions and events over the years. I moved from Somerset back to South Wales in 2015 and it's only since then my newborn photography has taken off.

I'm experienced, friendly, reliable, conscientious and passionate about the art of photography and providing my clients with images that become precious memories as time goes on (I'm also reasonably priced!)
