I’d known I wasn’t ok for a long time, I just couldn’t figure out why. When I went to see Sue I wasn’t in crisis, I was still managing work, family, life in general, but I knew if I carried on the way I was going I was heading for a breakdown.
Whether that was in 2 months, 2 years or 20 years I didn’t know. But I knew I needed help.
I didn’t know how broken and lost I was until we started unpacking all the little boxes I’ve kept buried deep inside my head. But I couldn’t think of a better person to help me work through those.
Sue has been absolutely incredible. I feel like I’ve found myself, the authentic me, and I’m actually experiencing life now - thriving, not just surviving.
Sue went at my pace, checking at each stage that I was ok with it. Challenging me when I needed her to.
What I’ve realised with Sue is that the answers were there inside me all along, but Sue helped me find them.
I’m saying all this in the past tense like I’m fixed. I know I’m not 100% there yet and there will always be things that happen or that come up from the past, but Sue has given me the coping strategies to manage these things and challenge myself going forward and for that I can’t thank her enough.

Sue was absolutely brilliant. I reached out to her after suffering from a very difficult time in my personal and professional life.
She helped me with the repercussions of being in a toxic relationship. Something that needs a therapist who understands to work through it. I had seen a few before being sent in Sues direction and I just didn't feel they understood what happened. When I met Sue I was stuck, lost and had low self esteem all things common for people who have experienced what I had. On top of that I was in a crucial time in my career and could have lost out on a massive opportunity that I had worked hard on.
Sue I a wonderful therapist. She listens intently. Helped me to set goals and gave me actionable points to allow me to cope better with things that were going on in my mind. When I reached out to Sue to start my counselling I couldn't begin to imagine how much she would help me. As someone who has suffered a lot of trauma I didn't think I'd ever feel as strong as I now do. She is patient and supports you to make your own decisions whilst reframing things to help you digest your thoughts and feelings. I’ve been working with Sue for some time now and she’s been one of the most amazing therapists I’ve ever had. I really struggled getting the help I’ve needed through the NHS and it’s been a difficult journey to try and find someone who understood what I was going through. I felt I needed to talk to someone who was not close & it wasnt just what had happened to dad but it seemed like it was things had been bottling up since childhood.

What do you love most about your job?
I love having the privilege of working with someone and supporting them through their journey and watching them reach their full potential . I enjoy collaborating with my clients and seeing them develop a real sense of self and empowerment that gives them the confidence to move forward in their lives with a new sense of purpose and perspective.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I have always enjoyed the responsibility of working for myself and being my own boss. I believe passionately in my work and enjoy witnessing its impact on those I work with.
