When I first went for a consult to Studio 27, I immediately felt like right at home. So I scheduled my first ever appointment today with Stylist, Diane Hawkins, and let me tell you! It was honestly hands down, the best experience ever for me! She is so caring. And I know more about my hair than I did before I stepped in the salon. She gave me so much insights about what to do because I am soon to be married so I will be doing different treatments. She wants the best for her clients! This salon is hands down one of the best salons I've been to. I have thick relaxed hair which I only relax twice a year. Blessing gets my hair smooth and silky every time and still leaves a bounce in my hair. Angie is a truly phenomenal hairdresser who enjoys what she does and gives it her all! She never disappoints. I have been with her since 2012 and my hair had never looked so healthy as it does now thanks to Angie's unrelenting will to take care of my hair. I decided to go natural in 2014 and Angie had a great transition plan that has helped my hair grow stronger and in length as is my goal. I've always had my different type of hair extensions (underneath my natural hair) done by Angie, all with a leave out and never had any issues with blending the hairs--Angie explained and practically gave me a lesson on how to take care of it and I became a pro at blending the hair with no heat damage and little manipulation! Angie is also a great listener and will take her time to understand my hair's needs as far as styling goes, and will occasionally suggest new things (I am not very adventurous with hair, due to the nature of my job, and never wanted to experiment with color but Angie introduced me to simple summer highlights that I am just in love with!). This hair salon is great! I was a "model" for tape in hair extensions by Kim with Blessings help and Kim did a great job! I have now realised that tape ins are not for me (not for my lifestyle - can't keep up with the upkeep) but if I got them done again I would 100% go to Kim ! She also cut my bangs which she did a fantastic job on and I'm very happy with still! This is a very special salon. Keep it up! :) More...

I went here for the first time today and had the best experience! I booked a blow-dry, flat iron and trim with Debbie and she was amazing! She is super sweet and has so much knowledge about hair. She walked me through each step as she was doing my hair. My hair feels so soft and amazing! She gave one of the best trims that I've ever had. My hair looks so full and healthy. What inspired you to start your own business?
I realised that I had a passion for filming and a keen eye for detail at the first wedding I videoed for a photographer friend. The reviews I received were fabulous, it was a pleasure to be part of such a wonderful occasion which inspired me to create Studio27.
