What’s your interior design process?
I love to start by meeting my clients - preferably at the property they wish to redesign but can also meet remotely. I ask lots of questions to help me understand what they are looking for and their taste, budget and timeline.
Following that I like to draw up a preliminary set of designs (free of charge) to ensure that we are going in the right direction. If the client is happy then i will proceed with a detailed design alongside 3D renders. Once we finalise i will then create a digital shopping list.
Once all items are delivered and any building works have been completed i will do a home visit to put everything in place and add any finishing touches or follow up on any snagging.
Which interior design styles can you cater for?
I love to create modern contemporary interiors, that can be either formal or more relaxed. I don't use a lot of colour or pattern and prefer to work with tonal colours, textures and interesting materials. I like to use a mixture of modern furniture alongside design classics and art to add character and interest.
What do you love most about your job?
I love to meet new people and help steer them in the right direction to give them a home that they can enjoy and share with their family and friends.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Having renovated a few homes of my own and offered advice to friends i saw a real need for a design studio that could really help people to create easy flexible modern spaces. I have worked for many years in design for retail spaces and wanted to use what i have learnt and bring that into peoples homes.
Why should our clients choose you?
Part of the design process is to be able to communicate and show what the design will look like. From my past experience and use of 3D modelling i am able to give a real understanding of how my designs will look. I like to build a relationship before my clients commit to any costs as it is important that we have a good chemistry.
Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.
I prefer to conduct a home visit but of course online and remotely is absolutely fine.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
Any site visits will be conducted in a covid secure way - by use of hand sanitiser, facemasks and social distancing. All samples will be disinfected before being shared. Documents will be shared digitally and regular meeting conducted online.
Interior Design
We offer an extensive interior design service from entire home renovations to single rooms. This includes fixtures and fittings as well as the design of bespoke pieces of furniture.
We can also offer advice on space planning and layout.
3D rendering
We create photo realistic renders of all our designs to ensure that our clients know what the design will look like in their home. This allows us to see any potential issues and saves both time and budget later on in the project.
Shopping List
Once the design in finalised you will receive a digital shopping list containing details and links to all furniture, fixtures and fittings needed to bring the design to life. You can also make use of trade discounts at selected retailers.
