I cannot rate these guys highly enough. I have been struggling with a bad lower back for years, finding it difficult at the end of the day to even move, knowing that it was the fact that I had weight I needed to lose and I needed to strengthen my body and my core, I sought out a convenient way to exercise whilst fitting it into my routine. I now use Strength for Endurance's work out kit from home and the information they provide on their website and social media platforms allows me to work out from home without doing any damage. These guys truely know their stuff and I would be totally lost without them! More...

Excellent and high quality strength session tried for the first time at 7am today. Cant say I looked forward to a 7am session start on a Friday but it was well worth it. Great mix of exercises, taught well and performed to the best of my ability. Really enjoyed it, thanks! I look forward to next time! More...

I started going to Strength for Endurance as soon as it opened in Bath, after loving their online platform. The studio is very convenient to get to and has easy parking close by. Its fresh, modern and always super clean and tidy (which makes the experience a lot more enjoyable!) I love the fact that it is connected to a physio too. The classes are always a lot of fun and Kriss (strength coach) is very talented- he really gets you as an individual and designs the exercises to suit you. There are lots of class times to choose from (pre work, at lunch, after lunch, weekends) which makes fitting one in easy too! I'd say save the expensive gym membership and take a visit to Strength for Endurance!! More...

Great class format with max of 6 to 8 people so it’s almost like you are getting a one on one personal training workout. I found this really helpful because I wanted to assure good technique and “quality training over quantity”. Kriss and Polly really know their stuff, are friendly and encouraging. More...

Over the years I have belonged to many gyms. You start with enthusiasm and then interest wanes, however, the Strength for Endurance model is refreshingly different and excellent value. The class sizes are small, either Kriss or Polly lead each session, and the programmes they design are specifically tailored to help you get maximum benefit from your time. Whether you are a performance athlete or somebody just looking to get back into shape, they have the expertise to understand your level and push you to fulfill your potential. More...

Kiss really knows his stuff, and knows how to get the best from you. After years of distance running I know that small changes can have big impact on your performance, and in one session Kriss highlighted areas that I could work on. Recommended for all abilities and levels - do go along and find out what Kriss can help you with. My focus is staying injury free and to keep on marathon running for many years to come - so will make sure I build the Strength for Endurance sessions into my training plan in the future. More...

After an Achilles problem, followed by a knee injury, running was out of bounds. Determined to keep up exercising and build strength to help the knee, plus a goal of a 70km bike ride in France in April, I asked Kriss for help. January 2018 saw the start of a new training regime with Kriss’s expert coaching and strength training. He gave me so much confidence and know-how to enable me to progress in strength and fitness at each session. Outside of that I had a programme I could stick to and self-manage when away from home too. Kriss really understands injuries and not only how to improve fitness to accommodate them but also how to re-programme your body to avoid them in future. With Polly’s support with the bike too, it’s been an amazing journey so far. Whether you’re an athlete or simply want be fitter and healthier I could not advocate Strength for Endurance more strongly. After my 70km I had no aches or pains at all. A real proof point that it works! More...

I signed up and ordered the Kit last week and it's great. I'm using it to supplement my gym workout and it's seriously handy to set me up for the day in the morning before work.

When you are an ultra runner and love it as much as I do, every spare moment you have, you want to spend it running of course. For me, strength training was something you did once you got injured. So here I am. Coming back from a foot injury and needed to work on some imbalances. Kriss got me into the Strength For Endurance kit and now I'm back running but also maintaining my strength and mobility work. I've realised how vitally important this is and have even replaced a few runs per week with various programs using the kit. I have already noticed an improvement in my ascents on the trails and better strength on the decents. A tool that I will use all year round now because I definitely want to run more ultras but I also understand how important good movement, mobility and strength is as you age. Thanks SFE, here's to many more years chasing adventures. More...

I'm loving this KIT as I can do my strength exercises in the comfort of my home and take it on holidays as well. This has been vital in my long road to recovery after having major back surgery a year and a half ago. No excuses now.

14 months ago I was in a big hole . My body was constantly injured and I couldn't train or complete my endurance events ( ironman triathlon) without pain and to the standard that I expect of myself . I contacted Kriss to help me strengthen myself so I could continue my events . I expected him to work on my injured areas to fix them up so I could compete again . He informed me that this was not the best solution as I need to strengthen my entire body from head to toe so we can minimise future problems. I have worked both one on one and at home with the program and now am both injury free and feeling strong . At my latest couple of half iron events my body felt as strong as it has ever been . At the back end of both events my hamstrings, glutes and thighs allowed me to push thru without any problems . I am looking forward to my upcoming ironman events with confidence that I will be able to get the best of me out there . Thanks Kriss More...
