AVOID! Incompetent and extremely unprofessional and rude service from TRACEY HAVELOT. She has an extremely bad attitude and we feel there was an element of racism and homophobic intent behind her behaviour. She is an aggressive and rude individual who doesn't appear to enjoy her job. I used this firm for my recent Conveyancing on a house sale and two purchases after my regular conveyancer had unfortunately retired,
This was the worst experience I have ever had dealing with a law firm and I have dealt with many.
Arrogant, dismissive and a total lack of understanding of the process of buying and selling houses and the stresses involved for the seller and especially buyer.
I could spend all day listing the issues I had with this firm but will just describe one. My solicitor very nearly scuppered my house sale due to forgetting to clear a second charge on my property until the day of exchange after knowing about it two months before. This required me to spend all day chasing my bank who miraculously managed to confirm the same day that the charge had been satisfied years before. If it had not taken place that day my house sale would have been delayed by a month which would have collapsed the chain. Why this charge was not dealt with simply has still not been explained. When I expressed my disappointment with the solicitor she became defensive and non apologetic and blamed the bank!! You cannot make it up!!
All I would say is use this firm at your peril.

This is the single most shocking experience I have ever had. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.
I have used them for our SIMPLE house sale and purchase. Two houses involved. From the outset this company was informed that we had bought a new build and there fore were expected to comply with a 4 week exchange and projected move date of 20th Dec (six weeks) ample time. I have done the majority of work for them chased them numerous times a day, phone calls and emails never responded to. Francesca Gillo/Jordan colcombe rude condescending This company gladly took our business with mo intention to hit our dead line. They use unfit for purpose companies to carry our searches that aren't insuranced by local Authority and aren't approved to act for Halifax so therefore have had to use a second solicitor firm. Only one week before completion do they tell me we can't move on the 20th. Effectively leaving my family completely and utterly in the lurch. boxed up ready to go in a house too small for us. I'm sure the staff at this company won't give us a second thought as they enjoy their Christmas. I'm so disgusted with every aspect of the company. Failure to respond failure to work fsikire to act for the client genuinely DP NOT GO NEAR Them, and if you do then more fool you.
